I'm getting the feeling that if pogba left for 150m, only then they'll replace him with bruno and SMS.
If we get a solid partner to SMS , I am actually ok to let PP leave.
Let's say we get 150m for him and we spend it on SMS and Saul, we would be much better.

Quite worrisome all this Pogba to Real malarky. Looked like he was staying for while there but a lot of noise suggesting he's on his way now. SMS is a quality midfielder but unfortunately I don't think he alone is enough to replace Pogba. If we were to get him and say Eriksen and play SMS - McTommers - Eriksen as a midfield 3 I'd be delighted. Probably never happening however.
I get the feeling that our board are comfortable with going into the season as we are.
But if Pogba went, they would be panicked and have to go big.

I think we have a couple of replacements ready to go if the stories are to be believed. SMS seems done and will be finalized should Pogba go. Still plenty of time to get someone else too. I hope he stays, honestly. Far and away our best player. I'm concerned that if he does go we won't replace him properly either.

ps agree to the second part. There is no replacing him at all. He's the best player by an utterly embarrassing amount. And it's only the ludicrous expectations that see him get so much stick.

Bruno and SMS would be the least bad way to lose Pogba, although still nowhere near as good as Bruno partnering Pogba. Just one of them replacing him is a straight downgrade and not a small one.

He will go if they meet our valuation and we have a replacement(s) lined up. Even Neymar's record deal happened late and he was on the tour I believe so time is not the issue. We may have even told them to wait until we sort Savic/Bruno deal because their window doesn't close for 1 more month.
Exactly, as long as it's someone like Saul, Casemiro, or Bernardo Silva we're getting. That's the level of player I expect if we're allowing Pogba to leave. Sms and Bruno would be unacceptable. We'd need to spend at least 200m to replace Pogba.

Selling Pogba this late might be suicidal. But then again keeping him against his will might backfire if he downs tools and spoils the team spirit. It's a shit situation. Let's hope he will be professional.
