What does this "..., sky sport news understands" exactly mean?
I'm not a native speaker and I understand what they want to say with it, but according to my english lessons "understands" stands for "to know something because someone explained it or you learned/heard it before".
Why should this phrase be used in a transfer tweet? Especially about rumors? Was there a guy their and told them all this and after this guy left, this tweet was everything they understood from him?

It is weird how some people seem to think it makes them look like better fans to not be dismayed and worried about what a massive mess we are.
What is also weird is fans jumping from thread to thread with the same moaning shite they always chat. You don't have to act like a child and still be happy with everything.

It just means that they've been told this, or so they claim. It can be used in a couple of ways.

They are just doing this to tempt him not to sign a contract, then they will be back next summer. It's classic Real Madrid MO.
They can feck off next year as well. Paying €130m for Hazard with one year remaining on his contract is going to prove to be a problem next year.

They could have read a tweet by Indykalia and their tweet would still be an accurate statement.

Next week will be the crucial week. Very surprised that it has been a quite day, expected some activity but so far it has been the quietest day.

It means that they invent different news everyday in order to work around Sky Sports betting coefficients (which change all the time, and via transfer centre “news” they manage flows of bets)

Sky Info: there is momentum in the possible transfer @paulpogba to @RealMadrid , @ManUtd Concretely negotiates Milinkovic-Savic of @RepSsLazio , He would be the replacement for Man Utd for Pogba. Transfer approx. 75 mio

If you are playing for a good croatian club, you have made your debut for Croatia and you are the captain of their U21-side - whyyyyyyy do you go to Birmingham ?
Seen someone else on another forum say it's linked to the owner of the Croatian club wanting money to fund illicit activities.

Are all these stories coming from Gazetta in Italy? Because if this happens I'm legit going to stop watching United and football in general.

Sky Germany are just rehashing what they are reading on the internet, as they did with that laughable story about Barca offer to PSG for Neymar a week ago.

There are no new developments re- Pogba and Madrid, the deal was highly unlikely a week ago, and it looks even less likely now. Real Madrid haven't offloaded any players in weeks and I doubt they even have 100m to spend.

Pleased don't take Sky Germany serious. They know less about what transfers are happening than the majority of the members on here.

Sky somehow managing to be garbage in three different countries is actually somewhat impressive.

It can be used as a phrase to mean you know something or have come into an enlightened state about a subject.

if I hear of a friend's marriage and when I see him I would say "I understand you're a married man now."

I wouldn't be surprised if Pogba Left and SMS and Bruno came in . Dissapointed the way we are doing things but not surprised
