People need to stop mentioning building the team and it taking time, if Solskjaer finishes outside the top 4 he will definitely be sacked. Confirmation of that is a few weeks ago he mentioned the club have definitive targets which we need to achieve this season. Ole is also a novice manager at competitive level so if we have a bad window it will reflect on the foundations of opportunities he has at success.

5th or 6th this year. The top 3 are miles ahead of us. We will compete with Arsenal and Chelsea again, and then it will be the same battle of the s*itest same as last year. Just my opinion mate had no idea posts had to be backed by journos in this forum.
I think we've a good team, with a smart manager and some excellent youth players coming through. We do, admittedly, have a horrible CEO who can't seem to get the job done when it comes to transfers. But I don't think we need a huge amount of players. A few outs and a couple more. Whether that gets done or not is another issue. I don't think it's a "Massive mess" just not ideal. Just because I don't think it's a massive mess, doesn't mean I'm wearing rose tinted glasses like @dove says. I just don't think we're THAT bad.
Some of the background stuff, like Butt's new role, the new transfer committee sound like good improvements too on the back end.
