In our current position, Manchester United aren't that attractive to players. If we were constantly in the UCL it'll be a different story. But we're not. So like it or not, we're not that attractive to players.
The fernandes deal is probably taking so long as you only realistically get to bid once because of the clause. Utd need to make sure Sporting accept the bid before it's made because if sporting reject it then for Utd to get him after that we will have have to cover the 5 million and the big increase on the bid Sporting want. It makes no sense to bid unless everybody is happy to accept on the first try which isn't the norm with transfers.

To be honest I think its more that people come into this thread for a quick check of something exciting some even have it on alert to catch stuff to do with united. So it can be frustrating when you don't have much time in the day to check and you see alot of activity only to find its absolutely nothing to do with us or any team relevant to us.
