I'm not sure Liverpool has the pull to get De Ligt. Their fortunes might have changed a bit in the past 2 years, but I dont think footballers consider Lpool more attractive than us right now. If they can sustain their recent success for 2-3 years then maybe they'll overtake us but rn they are not a "dream move" like Barca is and what we lack in trophies we make up in cash.
In what world are Liverpool not more attractive than us  the only way someone would choose United over another actual top team at the moment is money

Think that is a bit naive, they have a rich history in Europe and are held in high regard, not to mention playing exciting football, a top manager and two cl finals in succession. I think they are a big pull for any player at the moment. They are on the same level as us history wise, they just havent been a good side for a long time. Just like we werent in the 80s

Now now... Far from the best team in Europe. Probably the best manager though which makes all the difference.

this is back to back CL finals for them. they are arguably the best team in europe right now. that's a fact

Nah I don’t agree at all. Liverpool at worse are a team who’s reached 2 consecutive CL finals and have 97 points in the league, they’re currently in the top 5 clubs in Europe with ease.

I actually think Barce won’t pay the money required to secure him.

Nah, let's help Juve.

We are a very charitable club to Juve, we give Juve 100m gift as thanks for looking after Pogba for 4 years in Italy. Do they want to sell Alex Sandro for younger? No problem, we'll provide Juve necessary fund to buy Mendy in exchange for Alex Sandro who will become the next Valencia in next few years, we can make everybody look so bad.

We have signed Isak Hansen-Aarøen from Tromsø. His only 14 years old, so the kid is one for the future.

Atlético de Madrid take for granted that Griezmann has a closed agreement with Barcelona

Has Messi finally agreed to have him in his team? It was rumoured that Messi vetoed his signing last season.
I did not know that he had vetoed him last year although it is perfectly possible.
This same journalist said a month ago that there were people related to the club (Rexach said it publicly), and in the dressing room that did not want Griezmann, but because of "la decision" last year.

Imagine having a player with such clout that he would not want a top drawer player like Griezmann in his team. We have a manager who is happy to have Jones and Young in his team. United are such a moralistic dinosaur of a club.

Barca are desperately looking for their heir to Messi I’m guessing or they have waaaaayyy too much money. They have spend some 350 million on Coutinho Dembele and Malcolm and now are about to spend another 120 on Griezmann
The amount of money they have spend since the Neymar transfer is mind boggling. If they buy Griezmann and De Ligt this year on top of De Jong, thats 220+50 mill add ons spend this summer alone. Think their transfer strategy is to buy them all so that other teams can’t buy them

Lots of young players there, if they work out they can spend less in the future, plus young players means longer contracts so the money can be amortised over a longer length.

Mane refused us.
VVD didn't even consider us as an option.
Frimino, Fabinino and Clyne we couldn't get over the line.
And all this was before we had Ole and were not as bad as we are now.

Bin Suarez, the man with 2 CL goals in the last two seasons. Grizou in an attacking system will be a joy to watch. People forget how good he can be/actually is.
