It may not be everyone's taste but
at least he does what the thread is supposed to do ... posting tweets

So, I dislike this Chutney bashing tbh ...

This thread is surely as much if not more about discussing those tweets though?

Otherwise why would we even have a thread open for discussion, if someone only wanted to read the tweets like i do then they would mostly just use the twitter tab.

Is he supposed to be back-up or are Roma not happy with that Swedish lad?

That's what I thought but it seems they're not impressed with him. They only bought him last year to replace Alisson, bought off the back of the World cup and they're trying trying to move out Monchi's signings already.

Problem is that I dont think Leicester would sell him and Maguire in the same window.
Leicester would be mad to sell either of them to us as they could conceivably overtake us if they keep their team together and they don't need the money.

Poor Bruno. Nobody wants him yet. Sporting fans should rejoice though, they have him for another year at least

Based on his performance stats, everyone ought to be after him. All out SP friends here rave about him.

What's wrong with him that everybody seems to know? Bad body odour? Too hideous a set of gnashers for club promotions? Behavioral challenges?

Weird one.

Got to be honest, even I'm starting to lose hope we're in for any further significant signings at this point.

Yes yes it's only July 4th, but now we're at the stage where any new signing likely won't be going on the tour and so will miss valuable pre season team work with the squad.

We'll then be seeing players struggling to settle for the first half of the season.

Can't wait....
Why would new signings not go on the tour? When we signed Lukaku it was in the middle of the tour IIRC and he played in our preseason. I remember because of the whole Morata red hair thing when he showed up at Madrid's pre-season.

Does he have really long, sharp fingernails? Everybody keeps talking about his strange claws.

Man, thats fecked up for Subotic. Comparing his picture from Dortmund pre injury days and this. It cant be only age thing, guess after that knee injury he had to lose all his weight, think something similar happened to Vidic after his injury.

To put things into perspective: if He was a PSG player and We signed him for free, for 250k per week and He'll be playing under Ole who really loves hard working players, it looks like a very good decision.

All We had to do was to negotiate long before his contract's end, just like any other club would do. Fecking Woodward.

Spurs are having a good transfer window , already had a better team than us last season and they are adding some more good players , good job arsenal havent improved yet otherwise we will be getting left behind

They’ve added one player that will play for them next season...

We are absolute fecking imbeciles for letting Herrera go and not renegotiating earlier.

It is no surprise to me a team of PSGs level wanted him so much.

Steady on. He was with us years and only a regular about a third of the time.
He mustnt be built up to be some sort of Keane or Robson type influence.

I though except De Gea and Pogba none of our players were good enough for other top 6 teams? Somehow PSG signed Herrera.

Anyone who signs Herrera for 250k must be nuts.He is as average as anyone can be as a footballer.PSG wanted to replace Rabiot who went out for free and also Diarra retiring and logic decision was Herrera, average player with experience available for free. They needed mifielder and probably another one.Not one top club would be in for him expect PSG because of explained situation.

He is not a Roy Keane to be at this level of moaning.
Stop moaning already and move on.

If I had the faintest slither of hope that he'd be replaced by someone of even equal ability I'd have no reason to be angry.

We have sold players and then replaced them with inferior ones, time and time again over the last five years.

Rabiot, for example, would have been a well thought-out replacement at a club that was run competently.

There seems to be misunderstanding from some that frustration around Herrera leaving is based on him being thought by United fans as a world class player lost to a European rival. He’s not good enough for us apparently. Has anyone compared him favourably to our very best midfielders on here? From my standpoint, it’s not that we think he’s Keane or Robson. But he’s not Eric Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Obertan or Schneiderlin either. For me, he’s as he characterised himself to PSG fans yesterday: passionate, professional and hard working (not flush for those qualities in our changing room to be fair). He’s not box office but neither is he a bad footballer, and given we cannot sell 10 and buy 10 in a window - he was one to keep as we extended/re-signed many less capable players. With some good midfield recruitment, I suspect he’d have been a great option for Ole, system and opposition dependent. Confused by this disposable attitude to some players, like we have worldies queued and climbing over each other to join us in the fight for 4th place. Also misses the point that this is, again, indicative of a wider issue. We are not focused or nearly proactive enough on strategic management of our playing staff (key if not most important club assets) and Ed definitely understands asset management if not football. Ander will do a good job for PSG.

To be fair the club were negotiating with him since mid 2017. 2 years before a contract is up is long enough i reckon.

For this scenario to become reality though wouldn't we also need Rabiot to want to come to United?

The club may well have wanted Rabiot but he preferred Juventus.
