Pretty sure the way sell on clauses work is that it would be 10% of anything over the price paid for him in the first place?
Why weren't we in for him, damn it.
I believe we ducksched out of negotiations.
Also, is that Fabrizio Romano contractually obliged to say “here we go!” in all of his tweets?
Rooney had one too and we were the biggest club when we signed him. It's not uncommon to have sell on clause.
Yes but sell on fees are normally for tiny clubs who sell for a small fee up front with the hope the player develops and goes for a much bigger fee later.
You don't normally put sell ons when a player goes to a giant.
And certainly not one who has gone for a near world record in his position!
People complaining we are not in for Rabiot. How do you know we didn’t try? Maybe we did and he just doesn’t fancy us especially without CL.
Not really. These are generic clauses which are in most transfers.
You're saying most transfers have sell on fees? Hugely doubt that
When Fabregas was sold to Barca, they had sell on clause too.

Hope Juve get him, rather them than Spurs.

There will be occasionals. But you said most.
Deals like this are crazy. £17m for Southampton's back up LB.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy cost just under £20m once upon a time.
Wonder which 4 we can sign with the 30 million we've left..Ole wants 4 more signings after Wan Bissaka.
just...no..

Do we even have Matic? He looked finished in the last few months. Not sure that is the right direction. If we didn't have Matic maybe. We need experience in that back line.
Reliable?Ben Carter, Evening Standard.
