55 million total including add ons? Or 55m base? If it's the former that's not too bad in this day and age.

Looks like including addons. He says the deal which values AwB at 55m which wouldn't make sense if it's just base value.

Specialist fullback? Is that some thinly veiled dig?

Yeah, I assume so. He's had one good season. He's defensively solid and average going forward. 55m is an enormous fee for him.

Hopefully it's worth the expensive punt.

55 million for Bissaka is a big risk. Also didn't City pay 56 million for Mendy? So don't think it's a world record then.

Castles the bullshit merchant, Jose lover when he says things we don't like, now he is reporting positive everyone is going with it. This place is one fickle feck.

Castles throwing digs again? It’s getting BORING now. I’m convinced we owe him money.

I’m surprised there’s not an article about how we could have got in for 3 Million when he was playing for Palace U23’s.

AWB is a decent signing. I'm curious if he has any attacking out. Good defender but we need someone who can overlap when required...
It's weird because his dribbling, pace and power looks pretty good but looks reluctant to get forward. Maybe with the right coaching it will click?

AC Milan announces the appointment of Marco Giampaolo as the new coach of the First Team with effect from July 1st 2019. The agreement runs until June 30th 2021 with an option to extend the contract to June 2022.

All these clubs who are acting smart by demanding huge fees, a time will come when everyone would stop buying players and the players themselves would have to interfere. It's sad all this was started by this Neymar transfer to PSG and then Barca being the idiots they are went on to pay insane fee for Dembele and Coutinho.

The spreading of payments would suggest we are spending big and trying to maximise this years budget by paying clubs in instalments. Would be consistent with the desire to get 5/6 players.

Say our budget is 180m, -15 for James we have 165m left.
130m after AWB.
75/80 on a central defender and we’re already down to 55m for a few midfielders and a striker.

If Pogba and Lukaku go that’ll be added to obviously but I imagine that’s somewhere along the lines of what we will do. Defence being the clear priority this year as on paper our attack should be incredible.

Spreading the payment is fairly standard practice though. The way to utilise our wealth is by offering Palace say £40m in one lump sum or £50m over 2-3 years. They can choose cash up front or more cash over the longer term.

Think he doesn't want to come to us with out CL. We scouted him extensively and would be surprised if we just let him go to Spurs.

Should have bought him last year itself when we had Champions League football. I don't get this business process. Buy players when you don't make the Champions League but quality players won't consider joining a team that doesn't offer CL.

Ah the usual positive then negative double combo tweet.
You notice there is a pattern..
