It's not a problem in isolation but as a whole policy, it's concerning.

And signing all the Louis Van Gaalacticos has been a huge success has it?

I think our fans need to realise where we are. We are a club who is lost at the moment. Need to get back to our roots. Bring in some young hungry home grown talent and then a sprinkle of foreign flair here and there.

Some Championship clubs should definitely have a look.

Have you seen much of him? Genuine question and not loaded, I don't personally know him from Adam?

EDIT: Like a Scottish Frank Lampard. Looks like he has an eye for a goal but generally underwhelming.

Weird one with Celtic, this

Interesting tactic. Motherwell confirmed that they accepted a bid and that it would be massive for them if the transfer goes through so Celtic have left Turnbull and his agent in a shite position with this. Reject the move and people at Motherwell might be a bit pissed off but if he accepts it then he basically accepts being Celtics bitch and he will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder with Celtic. Not sure how this benefits anyone except Celtic financially I suppose as they’re making a clear statement that sometimes agents are a bit ridiculous - which is fair play but do this after the move collapses or goes through ffs.

A true great of the game.

I’m a man and I’m not gay, yet Maldini makes me giddy and slightly wet.....

True "greats", both absolutely fantastic players. Maldini obviously always remembered as an all time great in his position, yet Boban hardly ever gets mentioned, yet he was arguably the best player in Serie A for a period when Serie A was undeniably far and away the best league in the world. For me he was just as good as Zidane

David Turnbull's Wikipedia

On 12 June 2019, Motherwell agreed a club-record £3 million fee with Celtic for Turnbull. The youngster then shat the bed and listened to a dum dum Mr 10% and potentially scuppered the move. The trial continues. [15]

Nothing wrong at all with what Celtic have done. About time agents were called out for the bollocks.

Maybe more clubs should out agents who offer practically nothing for the money and do not have their clients best footballing interests at heart

Player choose their own agents and tell them what to do.

If someone throws a turd at you and it hits you in the face do you blame the turd or the bloke who threw it?

Agents are turds but its the players who are throwing shit.

Do any of you know how these manager transfers (Sarri--->Juve, Lampard--->Chelsea, etc.) actually Works? I find it hard to believe that it ONLY costs Chelsea 4 m buying a manager so influential and popular at his current side.

How many times have you actually watched him play? He'd be a 35m gamble.

At least 10 times, its 35m Euros and he is a better player than the options we have at RW for a relatively low fee in a position that not only do we need a regular option we also need backup options. Granted we signed James but I don't think his price tag should be putting us off

I've watched him for several seasons of Eredivisie football (pre-Ajax too) and believe me when I say he'd be a gamble. For example, he's not a leader, is prone to saying stupid things, downs tools when he doesn't feel good, etc. His mentality is questionable at best. Physically, he's not very strong or fast. He has great vision and keeps trying the pass even if it has failed ten times. Which means he's one of those players who will lose the ball often but also make great things happen. Definitely creative. I'm not exactly against it at 35m but I would prefer signing someone who is less of a gamble since we already rolled the dice with James for the same position.

At the price point I would bring him in along with Pepe or someone else. Both flanks need options and Lingard shldnt be one of them

Absolute bargain based on the whole 2times I've seen him play
A fellow esteemed scout like myself.

Think i’ll go on record as having seen him thrice & €35mil does indeed look like a bargain.

This means we won’t sign him though & he’ll go to Roma for us to offer them €75mil next summer with him ending up at Juve for €30mil+AddOns.

Absolute bargain. While everyone is wanking themselves over the two Dutch boys this guy that won the POTy has gone under the radar. Versatile and miles better than what we have lining up currently.

Lozano for 50m? Good to see we're not the only ones getting rinsed. The inflation is really crazy.
