I think with regards to Bruno we should listen back to what Ole said which is he wants players that actually want to be here and not come for the extra 20% salary and if the only way to make him come was that then I’d rather have a player who is fully committed because we’ve tried the whole offer more money and it hasn’t turned out well.

This could be true and I feel the same, but why else come here? Is it to play shite, win nothing, have one or two shots on target each game and make all the teams we play look much better than they actually are. I’m struggling to see the pull unless a die hard United supporter. Money is the only draw for me, the club is in decline.

Somebody give me something positive that we will sign quality players this summer! I have not seen a single trustworthy tweet etc. that mention man utd signing a player.

There were some tweets about how Ole had demanded we sign Bruno for £85 million. It then went downhill

That's because it's a unicorn.

Dybala made his name as a striker that drops deep, most of the teams play runs through him and he's the focal point. With Messi or Ronaldo in the side that isn't possible, and is part of the reason Dybala has been shunted to RW. Whilst it's possible to have them both in the same side, it isn't possible to do it whilst maximising what you'd get from either player.

At Juve he plays mostly as a #10 (you seem to call that a striker who drops deep). That is a position that CR7 never plays. CR7 is either a striker or on the LW. Neither of those positions are position that Dybala plays, so Dybala not being in the starting 11 has nothing to do with CR7 as others are keeping him out of the line up...

You’ve got a very black and white view of things. It doesn’t work like that

My view is that I would rather buy the player that Juve is willing to let Dybala leave for. It's not like they need the money. They just know there is a better player out there. So instead, Juve will sell us Dybala for 100m and then go buy Chiesa for 40m. THen in a year or 2 we will say "hey, that Chiesa kid is pretty good" and then we will make a 100m bid for him. My black and white view is why not buy Chiesa now (or someone like that) rather then pay over the top for a guy who Juve obviously doesn't want...

Some people on here are mental. No to Dybala? Why? Who would you rather have? He mightn't be starting for Juve but he'd sure as hell start ahead of every one of the dross we currently have. Yes to Dybala, every day of the week - the guy is quality.

It would mean again spend on a signing we don't need, typical Woodward signing. We don't need a 10. He ain't a right winger, he ain't a high work rate player and work horse. He ain't an attacking midfielder either but more of a second striker.

He won't fix the balance of the team while wasting 100 m on a player who won't find a solution to our current problems.

Yet he's a much better player than our entire frontline. We're not getting the balance fixed this window anyway. He will improve us going forward.

I honestly don’t think there is all that much in it pace wise. Work rate is definitely chiesa, but Dybala has better movement. Chiesa is the plays a role that suits him at fiorentina, Dybala plays in an allegri system that accommodates Ronaldo.

Chiesa has got better pace than Dybala. Dybala can't even compare in that department. His movement is also quality. It's a shame that Florentina don't have quality creative midfielder to constantly take advantage of it. I will rather take Chiesa than Dybala. At least, Chiesa isn't a luxury player who can only play in one position and in a particular set-up like Dybala.

He will be the same like others with this midfield and poor ball playing defenders and full backs.

He won't fix the team by himself - of course not. But he is a quality player and the sort of player we should jump at the chance to sign. Any way we can upgrade on what we have in any position has to be seen as a plus.

I would trade our whole midfield trio Pogba including, for Leicesters three. Hamza Choudhury - what a performance. The guy was all over the pitch. Tielemans and Ndidi as well.

Strongly disagree, this is the sort of mentality has led us to be so poor and clueless in the first place. Although our attack was very poor since Liverpool game, i think it can get much better with this players itself but with proper midfield and defense behind them.

We can sign dybala all we like, he will be wasting his career here with what we have got in midfield and defence and on the wing and we won't finish top 4 again next season if we waste money on signings like him.

Custis is saying that Ole wants to boot Martial out. I’m not going to post the tweet.

It doesn't matter. We need players in other position. And wasting money on positions we don't have a fire need of is exactly the sort of mentality which won't help fix the balance this window itself. The more you linger on the more difficult it becomes to get the balance right as other clubs ain't stop recruiting the players we should sign.

'Must' lower our valuation haha.

"Sorry Real, how inconsiderate of us, how much would you like to pay"?

Julien Laurens: "...United's stance publicly is that the Paris native is not for sale at any price, though they have privately valued him at €160m in case they ever open the door for a move. Real Madrid, who are the only club Pogba is considering joining, will try to lower a potential transfer fee to around €120m, sources add..."
