I can't see anyone paying a fee for him. Any club negotiating with them has them by the balls.Loan's a different story. £60m and a £400k a week contract and I'll top myself.

They are only 26 (possibly 29) points ahead of us and they are trying to improve their team.
Absolutely no need to panic, everyone stay calm, everything is fine.
Real Madrid have sold some fantastic players the last decade, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Øzil, Higuain, Kaka, Robben and Wesley Sneijder. They also sold Carvajal to Leverkusen before suddenly realizing that he was a fantastic player, and bought him back. Zidane seems to prefer Modric and Kroos ahead of Ceballos, while Luis Enrique have been playing Ceballos instead of players like Koke and Saul. But if he's good enough, why aren't Real keeping him themselves? They don't sell players that they rate
Same shite every summer unfortunately. Any signings City/Liverpool make are greeted with howls of drama. Always made out like it's prime Messi, and how they "aren't messing around".
You'll also see the words 'scary', 'frightening', and 'terrifying' thrown around when discussing their future lineups.
You're also right about any improvement being negligible. Diminishing returns.
This is a team who over the past couple of years have had a midfield 3 of De Bruyne, Silva, and Fernandinho. Yet somehow we are supposed to be fretting over Bruno Fernandes. Please.
Unlike Sneijder or Robben, Bales legs are gone and even worse his desire for the game is gone. The coach and the management are actively trying to sell him with Zidane not even talking to him (if reports are to be believed), yet he’s happy to get his pay check and enjoy the weather. As i said in the last page, he’s already in retirement mode and on top of that he never really wanted to play for us. I just don’t understand why on earth we would get Bale, even on loan. We shouldn’t go anywhere near him, an injury prone superstar who rejected us thrice, who is past his prime having lost all his desire for the game, but is on 400k per week is the last thing we need, not to mention we already have one of those at our clubLike Sneijder and Robben?
Bale on loan wouldn't be the worst option.
So do I, especially as our transfer dealing "specialist" Ed Woodworm is still the one doing the deals.God I hate this part of the year.
I think you might find, we're already there.PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: When a club like Madrid tell players they can leave, it's because they're in decline.
If Bale turns out in a United shirt next season we're a laughing stock.
You're right there.I think you might find, we're already there.
I'm slowing coming to this conclusion also. We still don't know what we're doing and all the best players will be at clubs by the time we get our act together.Get used to this, lads. Every player that we should sign this summer will sign for someone else. The season is not even over and City are already close to signing players.
We might get Bale or something. Then again, I'm not even sure why he would want to come here.
Strange that the article says City see him as a replacement for Fernandinho. Surely they are completely different players?
Eh obviously he’s more knowledgable but that doesn’t change the fact he can get things wrong. Just think this guy isn’t nailed on to be a start like a De Ligt or M’bappe so don’t understand why people are so disappointed we aren’t in for him.I'd guess Pep knows more than us, or does he?

It's just fecking depressing. I can already see them setting Solskjær up for a sackingI'm not even sure if we ever will get our act together with these clowns on the board.

Silva, Fabinho, Bruno. The midfielders that would comfortably improve our squad just continue to pass us by
It would be better for us if we signed Felix imo.City are most likely going to be champions and are already recruiting top players. Meanwhile, we are 6th, in a major crisis doing feck all. Still figuring out whether to appoint a DOF or not. Let’s face reality, we are clueless. Last year the same crowd kept on saying; stop panicking it’s only May. It’s evident we are a club with no solid structure, strategy or plan.
Have we even been aware of this player or are we doing the usual and making a bid at the last second?

Fred and Sanchez were both apparently good enough for City too, look how they turned out.Because young talented players like this are what we should be trying to sign. Or did you forget we have absolutely embarrassing 'players' permeating every position at this club. We don't have an embarrassment of riches that's for sure, Bruno Fernandes at this price is a steal, if he's good enough for City why isn't he good enough for us? We are well below their level.
The season is not over yet. T̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶n̶d̶o̶w̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶p̶e̶n̶ ̶u̶n̶t̶i̶l̶ ̶J̶u̶l̶y̶. Feck, it opens May 18th in England. You're right, we're fecked.Guys, I think ... I think we're fecked.
Really don't want start an off topic but is this a parallel universe where Chiesa is better than Dybala?
We don't even need him, midfield is probably the least of our concerns at the moment.Well it's possible that Utd's name has been used to put pressure on City to sign him and weren't interested at all.
To be honest, I find it hard to believe any of these tweets.
Felix is naturally more talented and has the higher ceiling without question. Bruno is best at #10 and Felix from the little I've seen is more versatile due to his skillset.Felix and Bruno are different players aren't they? They don't both play in a 10/front 3/false 9 (I thought Felix is accustomed to that).
Doesn't really matter, I'm sure City will go on to Felix too.
