Let them pay 2 Ronaldos for him, that should be fine in the current market. Then reinvest wisely and ... ok, forget that last part. But when he can't be arsed anymore or thinks he's above all this, then there's no point keeping him.

Like I said, he's basically screwed for this coming season if he has his heart set on moving because with three years left on his contract and with no inclination from our end to sell, he hasn't a chance of forcing this move through.

Raiola might try and force it, but would he seriously want to piss off one of the very few clubs who would be willing to buy his players on his exhorbitant terms?

Think a new contract and us paying him what Sanchez is on is more likely than a move, and even the chances of that happening is remote.

Julien Laurens: "...United's stance publicly is that the Paris native is not for sale at any price, though they have privately valued him at €160m in case they ever open the door for a move. Real Madrid, who are the only club Pogba is considering joining, will try to lower a potential transfer fee to around €120m, sources add..."

The only thing he should push for is Real to pay the asking price, or they can all go feck themselves.

Bye Paul. Madrid is and should be the home of football circus.

I really hope we sell Pogba. We can get a lot of good and consistent players with desire to play for the club for ~£150m. Let’s get him oooout.

I hope we dont budge on the price. Thats a fair amount given where the market is right now.

We will. There's absolutely no chance in hell he stays now. I just hope we make good use of the money.

Not with Woodward in charge. He will spent the entire amount chasing past-it/chased by city/average players

I do not know, it seems difficult.
For the moment Zidane has spoken with Llorente, Ceballos, Bale.
I think he will want to keep Kroos and sell Modric

I would take Ceballos though but together with 150mil.

We need to make our big moves before selling Pogba. We already get held to ransom as it is.

He wouldn't get any complaint from me. I've given up on martial.
I was one of his fiercest defenders, but I've had enough of him. Thought he could improve and bring some consistency, but that's not been the case.

Penny just dropped. If we're in for dybala then Juve will have asked for martial in exchange. They've had their eye on him for a while iirc. I'd happily make that trade.

Me too. But we should include some performance bonuses and a resale %.

How would you compare Dybala and Martial in today's market?
Martial and some cash for Dybala or just a straight swap? Or dare I say Dybala and cash for Martial?
And how much cash is some cash?

I'd value martial at anything over £45m (some of the £60m valuations people quote on here don't seem reasonable for an Italian side unless you're talking a player who's going to be key for them). We might get Dybala for somewhere around £70m, especially if it's a part-ex. Juve are asking for €100m which is circa £85m I think. If Real are in for him we might end up paying the full £85m. Obviously those are valuations so in a swap martial + £25m or more.

Well, if Juve are really keen on Martial and Dybala is surplus, both parties should be happy at Martial + £25.

I was really excited by Tony, but lately I just see him as an inconsistent one trick pony.

No, the fan base want their talented players to actually work hard, not just stroll around without a care in the world.
I want talented players that have quality. If someone like Martial isn't cutting it and is not working hard, then yes I'm right there with you. Martial's current ability isn't worth it. His dribbling isn't all that and he doesn't put himself in positions to score because of his laziness. There's a difference between that and Pogba imo. It's the same reason why I don't rate Welback. He's hard working, but his quality in the final 3rd lacks.

A lot of this forum has the wrong priorities.

Funny how now City are signing him everyone is convinced Bruno Fernandez would be great for us, wasn’t the case a week or two ago when we were favourites to sign him.

Yeah he's not developing. Seems happy coasting along doing just enough.

I wouldn’t care if Martial left, he’s infuriating to watch, but feck me if we do get rid we’ve got yet another massive hole that desperately needs filling. We’ve left ourselves with an impossible task this summer.

25 pounds for taking Martial FC with them?
just kidding

I’d stick money on us signing Bale
As much as I would be wary about the injury prone Bale, he would significantly improve the team create chances and win us games as long as the the deal is good so be it, would also be good for teh profile if Pogba is leaving, only problem is I do not invisage that the deal will be anything near good

We shouldn't lower shite. We always have to massively overpay for every player we want. Agents like Raiola are all too glad to push up the price when we're interested in one of their players. But when they want to leave our club we have to be nice and let them go below market value? The likes of Dembele and Coutinho go to Barcelona for massive fees and Pogba is worth more than they were. When we were interested in taking an underperforming crock in Bale off their hands they told us to pay up too. Real Madrid can either stop being cheapskates or feck right off. Cnuts.

Dybala has less goals than Martial this season.... playing in by far the most dominant side in the league. Happy to sell Martial to Juve, but wouldn't want Dybala unless his fee was dramatically reduced.

It could take a few years to get back in to the top 4 this time.

Quite some mess we've got ourselves in to.

He's got two less goals with them both playing out wide.

How about we compare previous seasons.

Dybala
2016 - 23
2017 - 19
2018 - 26
2019 - 10

Martial
2016 - 17
2017 - 8
2018 - 11
2019 - 12

Thing is, Dybala is central striker until this year with Ronaldo coming in so we'd be getting him to play centrally and our Lukaku has got 15 so far. Also Dybala if stuck wide would be on the right and Lingard is on about 5 goals per season mostly so all this Dybala vs Martial is barking up the wrong tree.

Except its not really. Its not a great return for a player playing as the central striker in by far the best side in the league. Then moving out wide he has the same as Martial in which we say Martial has had a terrible season.

My point is why bring in someone who hasn't demonstrated significant consistency and improvement over what we have. We would be adding a better player yes, but still inconsistent and not good enough for what we want. Just sell Martial and sign someone who has demonstrated either significant potential or consistency Dybala has shown he isn't consistent so why take the gamble.

Jessie Lingard should never be the barometer for any player we are trying to bring in
