We were in the summer. It’s what day 3 of the window. We’ll be linked to hundreds of players we won’t sign by the end of it

Not sure that applies, if he's playing for the second team. Considering he's 17 years old, he's probably going on loan next season anyway.

Real Madrid are already collecting a good amount of young talents for big money. Not saying I care about this particular player as I don't know much about him, but that it's important we don't fall behind. Sign Bellingham and Sancho.
 
These Fridge Chutney tweets do serve a purpose beyond the obvious you know, like how Ed Woodward says how he and the club find it difficult to complete deals in the transfer market, whilst clubs a fraction of our size go out and just complete deals that they’ve probably been planning for months.

Is anyone actually reading fridge's tweets ? Genuine question - I can understand if people are interested but if noone is interested then why do you need it. Its almost like fridge is posting just to prove a point.

Pardon me if there are people who actually follows it.

I just see it as a laugh mainly, also interesting to see if any blasts from the past turn up in them.

I know people are fecked off because once they see 35 transfer tweets awaiting viewing upon logging in, they’ll think Utd are in serious contention to sign someone but all I do is just look at the transfer forum first anyway, because if we were in legitimately signing someone, there would be a thread with tonnes of replies and views from the muppet craze.
 
Boateng would be a massive flop at Arsenal so I hope they go for him. 31 years, can't stay fit for the life of him and coming to a much more physical league. He'd crack like an egg.
 
Arsenal gonna do what we did and sign ageing players as a quick fix? It just kicks the can down the road. A loan might make sense though. A transfer would be shortsighted.
