You wouldn't keep Marcus and Martial for example? I wouldn't be devastated if Pogba left but only if we would buy quality with the money we would get for him. He's gonna leave sooner or later anyway.

They're both good, but Pogba is our only world class player in my opinion. He's probably the only player that would get into any other team in the world, so we just have to keep him.
I like Marcus and Martial, but I'm not convinced that they're players that are good enough for a title challenge. They're great options to have, of course, however Rashford isn't the striker that will help us win the title.

Depends on who will he play with. Even if you think he's not good enough for a supposed title challenge he's more than good enough for a squad member surely.
As for Pogba we shouldn't keep him against his wishes.
If we miss out on Top 4 again (despite it being their own damn fault) looks like all the rats will desert the sinking ship, and we will be forced to overpay for potential or B grade signings. It's the Liverpool trap of old. So vital we get top 4. And take note of which are the rats and ditch them Summer 2020.

He doesn’t need much ‘football knowledge’ anyway, he needs to know football business. Just like Mino Raiola needs to know football business, not know how to coach a team. Woodward, as you said, has spent a fortune. That is now apparently a criticism of a football exec? He hired a manager on the instruction of the clueless Sir Alex, but did not hang about when he was failing - he sacked him. No Woodward failure there, except listening to Fergie and Charlton in the first place. He then got an experienced manager who had won all major honours. He also backed that manager with top players of his choosing. Players that the Redcafe Council of Football Genius approved at the time. That manager got us back into the CL, and when he failed to meet that target the following season, he was sacked. He then got the most successful manager of his era. This was in agreement with the Redcafe Council of Football Genius at the time. Things didn’t go well this season and the manager was gone within 4 months. The RCFG declared Woodward should have made this decision before the season, based on, wait for it, ‘the fact that everybody knows that Jose Mourinho has a bad third season’. As in, in the real world, an exec should sack his manager who has just finished second, because it’s a fact of football mythology that he won’t do well next season!

My personal belief (what do I know anyway?), is that most people haven’t got a clue about what a good exec would be like. Woodward is rubbish so long as the opposing teams kick the ball into our net too much, and we don’t sign all the best players in the world ahead of all the other great clubs in the world, for a lower transfer fee than them, and on less wages. Even then, if we win games, then he’s still the best. It’s dummy spitting, and is regurgitated to the extent that it’s become gospel and overlooks the fact that it’s largely baseless.
Getting 35m for Bailly would be daylight robbery.
About time players used Barca and Real to get better contracts, but Lukaku to Barca? I mean, any team other than Barca, I would have tried to believe the rumor, but not Barca
We should really sell him. It makes a lot of sense to me, we get of another player on high wages and we get a could easily get over £50m for him. He's a good player, but just doesn't suit us and he's too good for a squad role.

Injuries aside, Baillys first season was great... But since, can you name any game where he was good? Seems to be injury prone a'la Jones and can't get a run of games even if his life depended on it. If rumours are true, we should cash in ASAP
As much as Lukaku leaving wouldn't bother me, what does worry me is having too much to do in the summer. It's already a massive task, it can't all be fixed in one summer.

Bailly is arguably not even better than Jones. Calamity footballer. Clown can only play on the right as well, he's not worth the hassle.
Bailly simply hasn't kicked on at all, seems to have regressed, and is completely hampered by injuries. There might be a player in there, but I doubt we'll see it while he's with us.
If we can sell him for £35m that would be great business. If we go for it we could generate a lot of money in sales this summer.
The only time Martial was actually good, was the time he had to compete with Marcus over the left winger spot, now he mainly just stands.
If we receive a 80-100 mil offer for him - should sell.
I wouldn't mind selling Lukaku if we bring in a RW. We have Rashford, Martial, Greenwood and even Sanchez who all can play upfront. Not the best options but a Lukaku not performing isn't much better. When he performs, he is our standout striker but that's also true for Rashford if he does
I don’t know if it’s proper to use the term rats. Each player’s situation is their own. Some players have long been earmarked for Madrid, another you couldn’t blame for taking a last huge payday in Paris.

I want us to get him as I suspect the prices should be far more sensible than this time last year. We have one LB in the squad, and nothing coming through the ranks in that role too. He’s also predominantly offensive in comparison to Shaw.
He also refused to back one of those managers, one with a history of throwing his toys out of his pram, and then didn’t sack him. He gleefully told anyone that would listen that he did this and thought we’d be alright going into this season that way. He’s also the man that waited about 6 months too long in sacking Van Gaal and there was plenty of evidence that he was a wash up anyway.
He’s the man responsible for transfers and handling managers. Is there evidence he’s good at that? I’d suggest the evidence in front of our eyes suggests he’s fecking useless at it. Has he been good at negotiating contracts? So many going into their last year before offering eye watering amounts to get them to sign would suggest not. Has he been good at getting rid of players the manager clearly doesn’t want? The fact Rojo and Darmian are still at the club suggest not. Would that have anything to do with the wages we had to offer those players to sign?
The evidence would suggest he’s a very good executive but that’s not what people are talking about. They’re talking about what he knows about football and for me, more importantly, how much he actually gives a shit. Marketing is priority number one and his transfer strategy has reflected that for me.

You really shouldn't, he's been fecking awful this season for Tottenham and has been one of the reasons for their abysmal recent form with several mistakes. He'd get slaughtered here by our fans just like Young has been. He'd also demand a high wage for being a bit shit.

We kind of need someone who is happy to play those 15-20 odd games behind Shaw and be happy about it.
