The Solanke thing is symptomatic of the fact that clubs - particularly those outside of the CL - have no idea how to source strikers any more. There are less and less actual goal scoring strikers knocking around and quite a lot of the better ones come through South America, a market English clubs don’t really have access to as easily. So they all cast around for the same old tat, hoping they’ll happen upon a 20 goal a season striker. A bankruptcy of ideas, basically.
Solanke isn't that bad, he's not Liverpool's level but could be decent with Wilson at Bournemouth.
