Average height of Mourinho DM's is 5 ft 11 inches

Average height of Guardiola DM's is 6ft flat

You are clueless
Damn why is it always me?

But in all seriousness just look at the targets we are/were linked to. Someone at the club is really obsessed with height.

Does every post in every thread have to have a "but with Mourinho in charge.... blah blahblah" fecking sub-clause?

E.g. should I have chips or mash with my pie tonight?

Chips mate, but with Jose in charge you'll be lucky to get raw spuds haw haw haw reeeeeeee
There is a clause in every post because its super relevant. We have missed out on a lot of good players recently.

Hopefully this is the window we finally get rid of atleast one of Jones,Rojo or Darmian.
Though knowing how we operate we'll likely get rid of Bailly first.

Being 'linked' to a player is completely meaningless. All that happens is fans create fantasies in their head based on their preconceived notions leading to selectively choosing which player we actually wanted and didn't.

The manager said that we wanted Perisic who is 6'2. We didn't get him and got Sanchez who is 5'6 for the same spot. The only positions we scout for height is most likely centre back and striker. We didn't get Matic, Pogba because they were tall, we got them because they were good players for their previous clubs.

Well it seems that being unoriginal as well as being a thick cnut is all the rage.

Might have been a mistake to sell him though. His goals are probably worth more than the money they got.

Oh I'm not saying they should have sold him, just amazing they basically got him for free for 9 years, selling him was always going to be a risk without replacing him (not easily replaceable).

I wouldn’t let Jose near any more funds. He is literally replacing players he has bought himself. What happens to Fred if we buy another midfielder?
Hopefully he is touted to be Matic replacement

United should definitely be looking into Declan Rice's situation. Versatile player who's comfortable at DM and CB. Not to mention he's damn good and English. Boy has 6 months left and Pep's already praising him and making eyes at him. Wouldn't be surprised if City go for him once they realise De Jong is out of hand.

Don't want ex-chelsea player/manager. We have had enough failures here.

Doubt there will be any Jan signings though. Even though United are desperately thin with quality (and quantity now that that Lindelof joins Rojo and inevitably Jones on the medical table) at centre back. The manager highlighted that the main issue was a ball playing centre back who was comfortable playing at the left of a defensive pair. Lindelof too mentioned he was trying and learning to play on the left even though he's been a right sided player his whole career.

Even then if you look at all the targets they're either players who've exclusively played on the right (Milenkovic, Skriniar, Alderweireld, Tah) or unattainable (Koulibaly, De Ligt)

Of the few other names that have vaguely been linked with us only Alessio Romagnoli fits the bill. Milan even with their little bit of resurgence seem unlikely to finish in the top 4 (at least I hope so). I seriously hope United focus on him regardless of whether Jose stays or goes because that is an area we need to strengthen regardless.

Chelsea would make zero sense. They have Kante, Barkley, Kovacic, Jorginho, RLC, Cesc and Drinkwater.

Kovacic is on a loan, Cesc will be 32 soon, Drinkwater will be sold soon I guess. He'll be a backup there too tough.

Probably helps with the homegrown regulations stuff
Ah yes, I forgot he counts as that.

Yeah my point is really, he's just going to sit on the bench for another half of a season if he goes there - at the minimum.
