Not that disappointed. Time to work with what we have
There is a lot of truth in what he says. Of course anythin can happen, but he usually says it how it is. He said we wouldn't go for an attacker in the summer in January and that was true. We didnt go for a LB after he was praising Young and he could play 50 games next season etc.
I dont think we expect a deal to happen currently
i agree, currently. i also feel like maybe we offered 60m for Maguire and they rejected it and we are hoping that as the day goes on they change their mind, maybe because of financial reasons after incomings or maybe because of pressure from Maguire.
Toby is harder but i can see a similar situation at Spurs. They will want to announce a signing before a departure. They might cave in and use some of the Toby funds to raise thier Grealish offer.
Things can change. So i choose to stay positive. If we don't sign anyone then i hope the hint at a tactical change from Mourinho works well.
