There is a lot of truth in what he says. Of course anythin can happen, but he usually says it how it is. He said we wouldn't go for an attacker in the summer in January and that was true. We didnt go for a LB after he was praising Young and he could play 50 games next season etc.

i agree, currently. i also feel like maybe we offered 60m for Maguire and they rejected it and we are hoping that as the day goes on they change their mind, maybe because of financial reasons after incomings or maybe because of pressure from Maguire.

Toby is harder but i can see a similar situation at Spurs. They will want to announce a signing before a departure. They might cave in and use some of the Toby funds to raise thier Grealish offer.

Things can change. So i choose to stay positive. If we don't sign anyone then i hope the hint at a tactical change from Mourinho works well.

Bit in bold is the key point. It is only for if a team has, say, two of their keepers injured for most of the season. We can't do it just because we think our CBs are crap.

I was talking purely about the situation Bootsy mentioned.

looking it up and it seems the deadline for loans is not included in the deadline. emergency or not.

yeah. the information i had found was out of date. The loan extension was a thing but has been scrapped this year under pressure from FIFA. apparently.

Except for Europe, we can register players for European competitions until end of August, but not domestic competitions.
Not that we would sign players for that only.

Judging by Jose’s comments I think we’re done for the window.

It depends. If he plays brilliantly, it is going to be as if it never happened. If he plays shite, you can bet fans will keep this memory fresh in their minds.
 
Dont know why everyone is stressing for been a great window for us we have kept David de Gea, added Fred to our Midfield to release Pogba to attack more and Dalot to our full backs, no one else mentioned on here over the last few months would greatly improve our squad and would only be wasting money which we have done too much of since Fergie left.
 
In any case people fearing Liverpool will fight for the title have nothing to fear and you can quote me on that.

We have had a decent window. The new players will be very important.
