He's got the making of a really good player, the injury absolutely stopped his career dead. Fantastic character as well.

I don't want him to leave but it's pretty obvious Sarri does not see him as part of our plans.
I really liked him before the injury, but also there were matches this last season for Stoke where he was rock solid. I also wonder why isn't he given a chance before the likes of Rudiger and Cahill?

"Manchester United concede their chances of signing Toby Alderweireld are looking increasingly doubtful due to Tottenham's own transfer inactivity.
The MEN understands that although Spurs are open to selling Alderweireld they are concerned they will not have enough time to secure a replacement for the 29-year-old Belgian before today's 5pm deadline."

Kurzawa would be a bloody weird one. He's more consistent than Shaw, but he's hardly amazing.

Not looked at any articles, but he can't be so much cheaper than Sandro either.

They've had over 2 months to find a replacement. Levy is such a tit

"Kurzawa has been ‘courted’ by Manchester United ‘in recent hours’ according to the French newspaper.
Manchester United have made it clear they want to ‘take action’, but L’Equipe believe an exit at this stage is ‘difficult to imagine’."

Hope not. Let's wait until January or next season and bring in Tierney.

They've had the whole season - Alderweireld has quite clearly been grumbling all year about a move and barely played.

What will likely happen now is he'll leave next year on that £25m release clause thing that activates. Levy is a proper genius though.

Julien Laurens seems to think it’s just posturing from the Pogba camp.

Regarding Kurzawa, he was highly rated as a youngster, no idea how he's doing now but AFAIK, he's very good going forward.

Also he's a United fan :
"The club of my dreams? Manchester United. One of my goals is to play for them one day."

There were rumors that PSG were ready to sell him for 25 mill Euros, which is actually a great price for a LB who's just 25 and has experience at the highest levels.

IMO we should buy him for that money. Looking at our LB options, Shaw is a goner and Young is 32/33
Even if we bring in a new LB next year, buying Kurzawa this year would give us a good cover and next year when we buy a new LB, he can be second choice as I expect Young to have declined a bit by then and Shaw to be sold or to have left on free

But if PSG sell Kurzawa ,they will most probably sign Sandro, so that's our #1 LB target gone

How is Luckhurst still considered as an OK source? All the contribution he ever does is just making stuff up.

Christ imagine how moany Jose will be if Martial going into the new season like he approached the second half of the last one.
You mean like Player of the Month for January, Martial? Yeah that's something Jose can moan about, in another news when does he not moan anyway...

"Chelsea have agreed to pay the 23-year-old roughly £10m-a-year over seven years – taking the total value of the transfer to £141.6m."

It couldn't take the strain during one of the friendlies so this would be about 50x worse.

If they get Benkovic too then that is Maguire off I reckon.

Evans
Soyuncu
Benkovic
Morgan
Benalouane

Well Benkovic is "part of the developmental squad" he says. Morgan is shite too. I don't think this changes anything, Leicester seem to be more set on not selling than Spurs at the moment.

Is this posted before?
Supposed to be Maguire at Carrington. Not saying it really is, but...

Forgive me, but who is Julien Laurens, and is he reliable?

I've only ever heard him on the Total Football Weekly podcast. He's quite funny and passionate. Must be a sports correspondent for France, a bit like how Sid Lowe is for Spain.
