I was referring to this, Luckhurst broke that we were close to completing first yesterday.

Did you forget that the thread title was 'if not City then United' for multiple months?

Sam Lee was the one that said City were interested in January, then said that City pulled out with United being likely to get him. The owner of Shaktar commented around that time with the 'If not City then United comment'.

Luckhurst didn't break anything because this transfer was months in the making just like Lindeloff was last season.

It's like a journalist 'breaking' Mahrez to city in the summer, everyone knows that the transfer is likely because of what happened in January.

#Juventus is working to define the operation #Darmian: it closes in the next days with Man United, the green light coming soon @SkySport

They want more than 100 mill for him?
Also if we made an enquiry it means we are definitely interested, don't know if he's worth the 100+ million price

Early negotiations. We ask, they give a silly answer, we counter, so on, so forth..

Yeah, but when the asking price is way off the mark, I don't know I you want to follow through with negociaitons.

100M€ is crazy money.

I agree but for the last few months Lazio have been very clear regarding their demands, they want 100 mill. Also someone here said the Lazio Chief is like Levy, so I don't think we will have much luck negotiating.
His contact is till 2022,so they are under no pressure to sell either.

Lazio have to sell SMS this summer, they know they can't keep him, especially without CL football. I'd be surprised if he moved anywhere for that amount, especially considering there's only a couple of teams in England that have that cash.

If we sent them one of our castoffs and €60m, I reckon we'd get him.

Agent Blind's greatest assist for Utd?

He broke that the deal was close yesterday. Looks like he was right. I'm not sure how you can debate that point.

Looks like City will have to pony up £75M for Mahrez.

Someone should ask Romano about Sandro. We've heard nothing from him or Di Marzio

Nice to see the Fred deal seems to be completed. I've never seen him play, but from the reports he seems like he'd suit us more than Jorginho who was rumoured earlier in the year.

The biggest sign that nothing is really happening there. These guys are the gold standard.

Only want Sokratis if we’re revamping centre half - Jones, Rojo, Lindelof out with Alderweireld and Sokratis coming in.

If it’s one of the other - Alderweireld.
