75 milion for a player with such a low buyout next year is ridiculous

Spurs obviously ramping up the price to try and get a certain player involved in the negotiations.

is our homegrown quota still healthy?

Will be for quite a while.

Pogba, Rashford, Lingard, McTominay all being first team real means we shouldn't have to worry for a long while.

I think he has been a hugely under rated midfielder, one of the best in the league and has shown it when free of injury for any period of time, against Juventus for example he was the best player on the pitch in the first leg by a mile for me and has dominated us years ago too.

If it wasnt for the injuries I would have loved us to have signed him a few years ago, not now though

Yes, we could have used him immediately following the move from Fulham. As for now, I don't want him because he wouldn't take us to a higher level.

We need a close to world class midfielder. I keep dreaming of someone that can be as integral as Kante or healthy Vidal. Actually, that's the missing piece...Kante

Our problem is not every midfielder can fit with Pogba playing there. If we were to sell him then it gives us quite a bit of freedom to pick and choose. However with him there it's limited.

So....who won the Lukaku/Morata debate?

Morata had a back injury that apparently affected him a lot but Lukaku has undoubtedly won, although his numbers have not been spectacular either.
A terrible year for Morata. Seeing Benzema problems to score, he probably would have played more and would not have lost the World Cup.

I'm going to guess that the Mirror are adding his wages in to come up with the £75M? There's no way we'd sanction a flat £75M fee for a 30 year old with some injury concerns.
He is 29 and barely had any injuries during his career but yeah, £75 is way too much.

I like Toby but Spurs can sod off for that amount. This is why we have backup targets, anyway.

He's coming off a season of injury though and in in the last year of his deal as well, isn't he? It's just a ludicrous amount of money that I can't see anyone paying.

Hope so, he will be 30 at the start of next season, paying more than 30 is madness.

This why you should never leave Madrid unless they boot you out.

Bayern could do worse than sell Lewandowski for a high fee and buy Werner as his replacement. He is still a great striker, but the criticism and unhappiness are growing.

That Lewandowski tweet is such bullshit.

I’m sure I could write something like this

Man Utd remain keen on Messi - if he is still available.

I know most of you are obsessed with age but why do you always need to post false info? He just turned 29 in March.

It´s said that now he is desperate to return, which is impossible because of his sale price. Mariano should be the new Morata but I think Madrid don´t have buy back clause.
It´s also said that his father pushed him to leave and that he had a lot to do with his decision.
Married to an Italian, and with the good press he has there, it seems clear that will end in Juve or Milan.

Really like Jose but if he blows 75mil on Toby considering he can be bought for 25mil would be bad business.

Ibra won Lukaku still couldn't match his goal scoring even with more matches
