We should have been all over this one.
Well I figured long ago a lot of people at the top are thick.Very puzzling why they'd agree to implement it in a World Cup year. Why wouldn't they delay it until next season? Now it feels like the whole transfer window is crammed into just a couple of weeks. No top players really wanted to deal with transfer stuff before or during the WC so clubs now have to rush.
Oh come on. Isn't there any room for entertainment? What an annoying club.
How about show some professionalism and stop bending over for Liverpool
Wtf?What an annoying club.
How about show some professionalism and stop bending over for Liverpool
Krychowiak in his pomp was his team's best player against the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. Hard-working as they come, could circulate the ball very well and was a big game player. At one point he was easily one of the top DMs out there. He just went nuts with all this celebrity bullshit and signed for Paris. It's all hindsight now and I love it we signed Matic but it didn't take a muppet to suggest he was good enough for us, quality-wise.Yeah, some muppets here wanted him prior to us signing Matic
It's not like Roma sold Salah and Alisson for peanuts, so I'm not sure what you mean by bending over for Liverpool. What an annoying club.

He was never that good. Fit in with the Sevilla team he was in, but was hopelessly out of depth at PSG. He can run, he can disrupt to a certain extent but put the ball at his foot and he falls apart. He wasn't even up to standard at WBA. I'm not having him being one of the top defensive midfielders at all. He had a good season in a good unit. Nothing to suggest otherwise.Krychowiak in his pomp was his team's best player against the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. Well McTominay should go on loan and I think Pereira might as well make his move at this point, Fellaini and Herrera have done nothing to be any more than 5th and 6th choice, but when you play as many games as we do you can switch out the entire midfield when we enter the part of the season where it's 2 games a week most weeks. However to your main point, I don't disagree on Young and Valencia needing replacing but that isn't going to happen, we've bought Dalot to develop under Valencia and Young is going to be our starter, I don't agree with it but that is the indication from the manager, so that leaves 3 positons we are being linked to, RW, CB and CM, what I am saying is I'd go for the CB and the CM as I don't want Willian or Rebic at the club, I'd rather play Lingard at RW, if Bale was a legit option then that would be different, same if a talent Pulisic was on the cards, but that's not the case. Not saying they wouldn't get in the team, just that having one of Kroos/Thiago, Pogba, Fred, Matic on the bench, to sit alongside Herrera, McTonimay, Fellaini, Pereira seems bizarre considering we'll have Lingard at RW, Valencia at RB, Young at LB and one/both of Smalling/Jones at centre back.
Smalling already has that covered though, it's one of his best assets. If it’s true that Mina is a target it would appear that we want a CB who can head the ball
Yeah but the others range from non existent to averageSmalling already has that covered though, it's one of his best assets.
Mourinho bought two of them though, I don't know why he did that if heading is so important to him, just more questions than answers I guess.Yeah but the others range from non existent to average

Not that any of them are poor, but if that is the top three from an extensive list, he either picked them randomly, badly, or it wasnt a great list
Lighten up mate.Sure, if they did something genuinely funny. They haven't. They're just pathetic.
How about the Champions League semi?
With those players and the way they came back against Barcelona. You'd expect more. They turned up ready to be thrashed, got thrashed and then thanked Liverpool for the privilege.
What interview was that in?Definitely something in one of these lads after his quotes today on us not having a Carrick successor in the squad.
Lingard -> Willian is a far bigger upgrade than Pogba/Fred/Matic -> Thiago. Remember how good he was under Mourinho at Chelsea.Well McTominay should go on loan and I think Pereira might as well make his move at this point, Fellaini and Herrera have done nothing to be any more than 5th and 6th choice, but when you play as many games as we do you can switch out the entire midfield when we enter the part of the season where it's 2 games a week most weeks.
