Everton close in on £21m deal for Barcelona defender Yerry Mina

Am I wrong thinking this looks WAY too low? Dude was a rising talent toward the end of last season, plus what he did in the WC.

Some Quality midfielders joining the league for next season.. Jorginho / Torreira / Fred / Fabinho / Keita - Going to be awesome to see all of them in action.

Not really when they all want to start and
cost a combined total of 350m+...

Staggering

Well, B.Silva didn't start much last season and he didn't seem to kick a fuss. Probably D.Silva will start less and less every year and B.Silva will start more.

In terms of Mahrez specifically, he'll rotate with Sane and Sterling, since the latter can play left or right. He'll still get 30+ games which will keep him happy I assume.

He's had incredible financial backing, Pep, but also most of his purchases (especially the forwards and MFs) have paid off and are flying.

If we want to point at costs and laugh, the defence and GK positions are a much better candidate for that.

Would be surprised if Chelsea would buy Higuain, Jorginho, Golovin and Rugani. But then again, it doesnt bother me that much. They will probably look good under Sarri once they click

That's 8 players for 5 positions. It's quite possible, like.
Some of them are young and want to play every game. For attackers, they need a certain level of greed for the good side of their job. Raking up numbers for themselves so they wouldn't want to sit out some games just because rotation policy.

David Silva wants to go home to Spain to his child that was born not very well.
I heard about his new born child, but I didn't hear anything about Spanish club interested in him

It's smal time mentality, like they can't comprehend a player going elsewhere when they're interested.
Yeah, and the way they make it sound it comes across like there’s a 10x difference in wage offer. In truth (assuming there is a difference), it’s probably closer to 5-10% which isn’t much at the wages being discussed.

I have tried and failed to get a response from this guy today and now it is saying he limits the people who can view his profile. Don't know if he has blocked me or not.

I was just curious about this source of his.

He won't be back. Not under that username anyway.

And if they really wanted him, they'd probably match or at least get close enough for him to the gap is negligible if he gets to play with St Pep.

Way too low?
They bought him for 11.8 million Euros less than 6 months ago, was not very impressive for them, had a good WC and now he's being sold for 24 million Euros, double what they paid for him barely 6 months back.

But, but last few days, somebody told us Chelsea is having financial problem? Me confused
Abramovich isn't pumping money into Chelsea like he used too, but they can easily afford 60-70m. Clubs get that just for TV money these days!

Good luck keeping them all happy..

Highly talented and technical players who have all experienced winning the premier league. Very good problem to have in my opinion. I'd much rather have very good players upset about not starting than average ones just happy to be part of the squad.

Mahrez is a good signing for city. They should be mopping up talent and not resting on their laurels. All the best teams have problems keeping players happy that is a good problem

Was expecting being linked with him. Hard-working and can be a total cnut at times, wouldn't mind giving him a shot for a right price

Edit: nevermind, never played on the right wing according to TM

He's been playing on the right wing in the WC and has looked impressive

Rebic is an average left winger who just moved to Frankfurt for 2m this summer. I've got some magic beans for anyone who thinks United would pay 50m for him.

The story is that a lot of his assets are tied up because of the Russians all being on lockdown in the UK. It’s a question of whether he can move enough money around

I hadn't seen much of Rebic before this world cup but have been very impressed with him in fairness. I'd actually just put him second after Modric over on that "Best player from each team in the semi final" thread.
