The Manchester Evening news running a story on whether Jose has dropped any hints on Ronaldo or Maguire.
If there were any hints about Ronaldo, they were obviously BS.
And the quotes on Maguire are:
“The negative thing for me was the fact I think there is exaggeration on theatre by the players,” he said. “I was surprised to see central defenders like Harry Maguire, normally he is a very honest guy, diving in the attacking box asking the referee for VAR“
The article also recycles Jose’s previous quotes on Golovin. Must be a slow news day for James Robson

With Ronaldo signing for Juventus might mean the Mandzukic rumour to Utd is true.Be happy for double deal for Sandro and Mandzukic. Sorts out the Lb spot and back up striker to Lukaku.
Because a back up striker and slightly above average lb will solve our issues.

Combined they'll probably cost what Ronaldo cost them

I'd say it's pretty insane to spend nearly £70m on a player who won't even walk straight into the team. Who are they going to bench, Sané or Sterling? Two of their best players last season. And will any of these attacking players be happy being rotated all the time? Nevermind they already have Bernardo who cost a shit load and struggled to get games.

Also seems strange for Mahrez to so desperately want the move. Surely he could go to a number of top teams and be a nailed on starter every match.

To be honest I didn't think about wider context, but in the current market I'd say he seems good value for that. Solid record, great Premiership experience, reasonable age.

I guess I'm just talking from the perspective £50m is a fullback price and not exactly a world beater, so £17m more for a classy winger doesn't seem wildly out of context.

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/06/24/sheffield-wednesday-fans-react-to-george-hirst-exit/

George Hirst, who was briefly linked to Utd back in April, left Sheffield Wednesday and has joined Nigel Pearson’s OH Leuven, who play in the second tier of Belgian football - Belgian First Division B.
George Hirst has left Sheffield Wednesday, but the youngster has not moved to Everton, Manchester United or Leicester City.

The 19-year-old forward was on the radar of Everton, according to The Liverpool Echo, while The Mirror credited United with interest in the talented teenager, and according to LeicestershireLive, Hirst was a target for Leicester.
OH Leuven are owned by King Power. So they won't have to pay a fee for him. Unlike, say, a domestic club like Leicester. Hmmmm.

Yeah that was my first thought, Tottenham done the same to us with Zeki!

Utd interested in Afonso Sousa.

Translation from the article:
Afonso Sousa, FC Porto midfielder, received proposals from Manchester United and Barcelona and has at least four more English clubs in the race to hire him after several polls conducted through a British agency that contacted Carlos Gonçalves , his former representative. The player has another year of contract with the Blues and Whites, who have already advanced some time with the process of negotiations for contract renewal, in order to prevent the player from leaving at zero cost at the end of next season.

I’m not sure why anyone would contact his former representative

Mahrez, Sane, Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva, B. Silva, Aguero, Jesus.

Pep going to struggle for goals again next season.

That is an insane attacking lineup. It just lacks a bit of height. Pep is clearly racist against tall people, as Yaya, Zlatan and Eto’o can confirm. Sané is in the risk zone.

There we go.

Good signing for City, but you've got to wonder who he'll replace. Sane? Sterling?
Probably Sterling - at least initially due to Sterling's World Cup commitments. Sterling won them a lot of points last season and scored 20+ goals so not necessarily a bad thing if they do replace him with Mahrez as I can't see his output being as good. Obviously, best thing for us would have been if they didn't sign Mahrez at all and had to start the season with someone not as good on the right.

Surprised with the logic of Mahrez signing.

They already have Sane, Stirling and Silva playing . I also think watching Leicester over the last few years his best games have been when they've played on the counter. City play counter to Leicester having a lot of the ball in games.

Potential midfield 3 of Kanté, Jorginho, and Golovin playing Sarriball sounds fantastic.

That @reddaz71 guy who repeatedly posted about Ronaldo coming back has strangely disappeared off the scene completely.

This was his most intriguing post, as it was well after the Juve thing blew up, and he was still adamant it's happening to us... If we did get him, this guy would be the greatest ITK ever seen. Most likely he's that reddit BS type bracket though.

"There are suggestions only about Ronaldo going to Juventus, fact is isn't happening in any way shape or form, it's very much a prohibitive transfer, Utd on the other hand is exactly the opposite and this is being played with a lot of smoke and mirrors, ultimately Ronaldo will be back at Utd and its a protracted thing at the moment"

I have tried and failed to get a response from this guy today and now it is saying he limits the people who can view his profile. Don't know if he has blocked me or not.

I was just curious about this source of his.

But, but last few days, somebody told us Chelsea is having financial problem? Me confused
