what did this nobody say? Just so I can track his reputation on transfer matters going forward.

Might be worth keeping an eye on what he has to say when the club are in the States. He has in the past been involved in promoting the tours in the US via his radio station and vaguely recall an interview with Woodward (although I might be wrong about that). For what it's worth he also used to post on the RI Sanctuary and his credibility was vouched for by the mods there. He gets a fair bit of grief because people can't differentiate between what is his personal opinion about the club and what is the information he may or may not actually have.

I'm surprised he doesn't mention "the Glazers refusing to spend the money yet again like he always does every summer.
He did albeit worded differently. Says the Glazers only care about money and it’s all business for them. Only care about making top 4. That’s been apparent for years and nothing new. You can’t expect non football fan owners to give a toss about football.

Watched the periscope. People who are already worried are not going to want to hear it.
His spin is always the same. If we’re heavily linked with a player his insight is always positive. Conversely it’s been quiet so he’s more doom and gloom.

Not much. His opinion mostly revolves around what we already know. Although he thinks Jose is already looking for a way out and there are only 3 unsellable plsyers. Everyone else can feck off, including Smalling.

Not sure I buy his Smalling talk, Jose wants him gone? played him over any other CB last year and judging by Smallings social media he isn't leaving. Pilib just seems to be telling some fans what they want to here on that one.
If push came to shove I think Jose would like to replace the entire back line. That’s not realistic so I don’t see us selling Smalling over Blind or Rojo. Of course, if we got a decent offer, he would probably sell him in a heartbeat. He has been one of our consistent starters for recent seasons despite him not being world class.

Think he lets being a fan get in the way of his media side. He definitely seems to despise the Glazers, but like all of us he wants to see the club move forward and like all of us reacts when it appears we aren't.

Mourinho feels he doesn't have enough money and the board haven't backed him enough. Been unhappy with them for a while.

I don’t recall the Woodward interview but I think he did get the Lukaku interview before anyone else. He did state it’s his opinion at times but also uses the “I’ve been told by my sources at United” line often.

Wasn't it reported that Jose wanted three signings before the World Cup started, unless he already knew Fellaini was resigning and counted him as one. We have Fred, who should improve us, a 19 year old that we have absolutely no idea where or when he will be used, a third choice goalie and Fellaini (who you presume will still be Plan B, so doesn't really affect anything). Unless Jose changes his mindset I cannot see much improvement. Think a lot of what happens will be down to the manager, not signings.

AS Monaco are delighted to announce the signing of Italian defender Antonio Barreca, 23, on a five-year contract from @TorinoFC_1906!

Yeah spending 300m+ net over the course of 2 years is not backing him, aye. Nonsense story.

This club know how to get the younger players, develop them and make a fortune out of them.

I'm beginning to lose hope that we'll hijack this
I can guarantee we won't be hijacking this deal, it doesn't make sense for us. I don't get why so many still want him back, he's used us too many times to get himself a bumper new deal, I'd rather we didn't go for him and looked elsewhere. There'd be too many egos in the team with Sanchez, Pogba and Ronaldo, a massive imbalance that wouldn't bode well.

Jim White has spoken, so Ronaldo is probably staying where he is.

Egos doesn't seem to matter too much for Real Madrid, and I'm not sure Sanchez and Pogba really have personalities that would clash with Ronaldo; for example Pogba got on great with Ibrahimovic. £105m for possibly the GOAT, still in great shape and hitting insane goal numbers, when Lukaku has proven for Belgium that he is great starting from the right... In short £105m to guarantee ourselves the league title.

Agree it's all moot though.

Juve at 9-1 for next seasons Champions League looks tempting if Ronaldo signs. Not sure there is a stand out team in Europe after he leaves Madrid. The Barca squad isn't sensational, Bayern are ageing and I feel City won't be the same super, duper, sensational, universe beaters they were portrayed to be last year.
