No doubt he will. They could afford him. Just seems odd looking at lesser players, who are being priced at not much less than Dave would cost...

Dave will go on twice the money as Courtois due to the fact that Courtois contract expires next year.
We aren't looking at players who'd cost not much less than De Gea. We're not spending more than €60m total in transfer fee for a goalkeeper. And we won't even get there with Courtois who we could pick up on a free in a year's time
I also don't think they're lesser gk than De Gea, but that's not important

I've held that belief long before the Portugal game. I think De Gea is the best of the three, but they're not lesser players. It's close. Courtois has better command of the box than the other two, De Gea is the best between the posts, Alisson is in the middle and is the best with his feet

De Gea was never particularly rated by the larger Spanish football fans. Most of them have seen very little of him and mostly with Spain, where he's been far from spectacular. It's the entire reason Flo had to wait for the final day of the market to try and push the deal through: blowing €40m on him in June would have generated a massive amount of backlash
Can't see any of that happening until the World Cup ends, it's the only thing people care about right now.

He was highly rated years ago, similar to Ter Stegen at Gladbach. Ter Stegen went to Barca and became a top keepr, while Leno stagnated a bit the last few years, but is still on a good level. Leverkusen bought Hradecky on a free from Frankfurt, after Leno told them he wants to leave the club in April. 19m is a good price for both parties. It is not a steal currently, but Leno needs to go up a level or two for it to be a steal in hindsight.

That's what I think. I think they will be established players given that Dalot is very young and Fred is coming from Ukraine. Possibly two premier league players.
Alderweireld will get done I reckon and then a right winger. Bale would be great but unlikely.
