Chelsea already refused €40m for Curtois. It's not happening. Neither is Alisson. Florentino's obsession needs to end

In the championship? I'll pass thanks, we have enough young talent in his position
On the right wing? We don't really have any right wingers in our squad, never mind young talent there. Unless you include Chong, who's not even made 1 first team appearance.

Atletico Madrid have confirmed three deals:
Antoine Griezmann new contract until 2023
Lucas Hernandez new contract until 2024
Thomas Lemar signs his contract

Really like what Atletico are doing. Great team, great manager, fantastic fans. Hope they win the title next year.

Pretty strange to see all the love for Atletico on here, especially when United are getting so much hate from within. I guess a lot of people just see the Champions League-games and the top games in the league where they seem to fork out a few results every now and again. Last year Atletico scored 58 goals (!) and let in 22 - that's so Mourinho it's crazy... I mean, it's the version of Mourinho everyone seems to think we have. That's just about the same amount of goals as Leicester and less goals than Chelsea... ten less than United as well. Atletico, and their great manager as you call him, play absolutely dire football most of the times - if we did exactly like them we would be seeing endless amounts of negative threads.

Saying that, the team is great on paper and they are really strong (and getting stronger for sure) - so hopefully they will bring some more goals next year, just like I hope we will do as well.

Their official twitter account said a deal for Sidibe is close too. Koke, Giminez and Saul also signed very long term contracts.

I think they will challenge strongly for La Liga and Champions League next season. More than likely will win one. They have a great side.

Difference in money spend, creates different expectations, at least for me. Never said i'm a fan of how they play though, but at least you know what you can expect. They are just a very well-run club.

I don't get this. Surely basically every Premier League club would meet that price?
Maybe the sell on clause is more promising for Moscow. And Juventus' policy of every player has price acts the player as safety net if he pushed for a move in the future for worse or for better situation. Juventus is a top club and they do offer fair share of playing time to the players. English clubs for one reason or the other can't offer the same "package".

It's more complicated when it comes to one consider a career move than we can think of as outsiders

With the midfielders linked to Juve (Emre Can and Golovin) and the ones that they already have (Marchisio, Pjanic, Khedira, Bentacur, Matuidi and Sturaro) are they going to offload some of them or send some out on loan? They seem stacked already, and with the new signings as well how are they going to keep everyone happy?

I know Sturaro is linked away, and that not everyone of those players play in the exact same positions, but still seems like a bit much.

Needs to go all in for Dave. He yearns to have Spain’s no1. I have a feeling it may happen this summer...
