Dalot plays left back as well as right. Might be that he plays left back when Valencia is at right for one more season, then when he's injured Dalit moves over to right and Young/Shaw play left. It's not ideal by any means and I highly doubt we work in a manner which says "if we buy a backup striker then we don't go for a left back". I'm sure we can do concurrent deals.

Interesting perspective.
And I think people underestimate how much Jose likes Young. I suspect he wasn't kidding about Young getting a lot of games next season.

Meanwhile, I am a big fan of Mitchell. Could he be in Jose's plan next season as a back up to Young?

Spurs scoffing at £70m for Zaha...whilst demanding silly money for their own players?? Man, I really hope they crash and burn next season!

I will take Zaha back at OT and give him that right wing.

What do Spurs really expect. He's Palace's best player, there's so much money in the PL now, they don't need to sell, so why should they just give him away on the cheap. Don't blame them at all asking for that sort of money in the current market.

Taking into account Fekir and Keita I'd like to know what Klopp's average fee per signing is

Hope this happens. He is massively overrated.

Who the hell overrates Grealish in 2018?

That may have been the case in 2015 but his stock has fallen a lot since. It would be like saying Januzaj is overrated because of the hype in 2013-14 when in reality he's largely been forgotten.

wonder what kind of fee that was

knowing Juve less than 40 million for a fantastic attacking player

I'd have said we should have made enquiries but I suppose this was a loan then buy agreement
Quite sure it was something like a 6m loan followed by 40m over 2 years (two 20m installments)

£75 million for Van Dijk.
€65+ million for Fekir.
£50(?) million for Keita.

Time for Klopp to shit or get off the pot now.

Would be hilarious if they somehow won nothing again next season.

Yet more obvious PR BS.

Don't forget Fabinho. He should be getting judged under the same pressure as Mourinho and Guardiola now, but he won't be.

Spurs?

My local news is always hyping him up so maybe it’s a regional thing.

So Keita and Fabinho as CM, Fekir as CAM, and Mane Firmino Salah upfront. I have to say on paper that looks really strong to be honest. Going to be interesting to see how the other clubs will sign, I think City us and Liverpool will be top 3 and Spurs or Chelsea 4th.

Who cares what they paid for him. They've bought another really good player, that's all that really matters.

it's not because of what they paid, Klopp said not too long ago that he'll never buy a player at those prices, he was criticizing us and city at that time. people are just calling out his hypocrisy.
