Was this DoF the same person who allowed all those spending last summer? If so, he should be first out of the door. Signed a bunch of incompatible players while neglected key positions as well as paying high fee for some of these signings. Now talking about lack of fund and need sale to fund new signings

No, he joined in May

He should avoid so many statements about this. With his doubts he has already called into question his signing with Barça. And if I were an Atlético fan I would not be happy either.

Atlético wtf? Athletico, you elitist, or Athletic

You know that Simpsons gif of Grandpa walking into a room, and straight out? Yeah.

If we get Lenglet, we can improve 3 key positions in our squad for under £100m, adding sales, could leave space for left back and 1 big signing.

How much of improvement is Fred to Herrera, New RB- to Valencia and Langlet to Smalling would that be if an improvement? Think if we get a left back and right winger of real quality and Alderweireld then That’s more of an upgrade.

I saw this story earlier, why would he leave a newly promoted club for a relegated one who aren't likely to come back to the Premier League any time soon.

Wolves exercised an option they had to sign him for £10 million. They did it purely to make a quick profit so he needs to move if he wants to play.

He probably wont get very many games for them in the Premier League. He was their back up in the Championship, joined in January and started 7 of 16 games if I recall correctly.

My post was more about adding quality depth to what we have, Bailey, Lenglet and Smalling would mean less Jones, Dalot would mean less of young and Shaw at LB, Fred is an improvement also.

Maybe in terms of regular football. You have Salah while PSG have Mbappe. He probably wants to play regularly rather than being a squad player.
Yeah that makes sense. Wasn’t he linked with Arsenal?

Only under Wenger, I think. With Inter being in the Champions League next season it is a pretty good option for his next move. Can play some games at the highest level then after a few years if he keeps progressing he can move to a bigger club as a starter.

I highly doubt it mate, unless the tax in Spain is more than double what he'll get net. Either that or they have less weeks in a year than the rest of us.
A quick Google search says tax rate is 52%, so around double. So he'll be on close to 850k a week.

United would be crazy to pay him that money. Greizmann is like on 200k, boast of 36m to nearly 900K? Atletico Madrid would be poorer in the transfer market with reduced of the net budget that majority of the money goes to Greizmann.

What happened to all the clubs interested in Martial? Weren't Juve, Tottenham, Arsenal, Bayern etc. interested in him?

He's really in a tough spot. He wants to leave and all these teams would be glad to have him around but i feel like United would ask too much.
Mahrez mkII as long as Mourinho is there.

I'm hoping itsmore that he's changed his mind and will stay with us....:nervous:

If we sign him he will be the next Neymar, if Barça do he will be a mercenary guided by his father :D . It seems that Santos are upset with Barça and don´t want to negociate
:D Vinicius is the new Ronaldo, this guy's the new Pelé

Unless he signs for barcelona. Then he's a moron, a mercenary, diver and not even good anyways, all hype and won't amount to anything
