Very sincerely hope this is true. We'd be absolutely unstoppable next season with Willian. He will transform our transition from defense to attacks in quite a big way.

Yeah, I think this midfield is strong. Support it with some full-backs and then maybe a guy like Wilian and we'd be flying.

Hes better at transitioning from defense to attack than Hazard. Hes so undervalued at Chelsea, he's their best and most consistent player in terms of performance IMO. He would be an upgrade on Lingard.
Not sure we'd be "unstoppable" but he's a big improvement over what we have. On another note, we seem to be targeting a lot of Brazilians with Willian, Sandro and Fred.
William is way better than Moura , and half the Caf wanted Moura to come here twice.
Willian's a solid signing, he's pretty inconsistent though. He's a bit like Sanchez though that even when he has a bad game he's constantly working hard, at least that's what I've seen when I've watched him.

The Sandro rumours have been consistent for a while now. And with the season almost over it makes sense we'd be pushing to get it done soon.
As some of the others have said, the Fred rumours all seem to be coming from his camp. I wouldn't mind him coming in, but think we are waiting to see if a deal can be done with SMS instead, (although they play 2 completely different roles in the same position)

I agree that our right side is a bit weak certainly in comparison to the LW. However I still hope we will try Sanchez out there and then there is the potential of Chong although he is very raw.
I wouldn’t be against signing a top quality RW but when we have so much attacking talent that could do a job on the RW I would be looking at someone that could give us a major improvement there. Willian is struggling to get regular game time at Chelsea so I don’t think he falls into the bracket of someone who would provide a big jump in quality.

Willian provides many qualities we lack in our attack :
1.He is more of a traditional winger who stays wide, thus helping to stretch the opposition defense.
2.He can deliver a good cross.
3.Very good at long range shots, we don't have anyone other than Pogba who can hit those long rangers.
4.Very good at set pieces - this is one of the biggest plus with buying Willian. He is very good at both direct and indirect free kicks.We have many giants in our team but no one to clear the first man. With Willian we get that option.
5.Very quick, especially at counters abd transition from defense to attack.
To be fair, we would find it difficult to find another player who ticks all those boxes. Yes he is a bit old and yes he isn't World Class, but he is PL proven and compliments our other attackers very well.
With him and Sandro, I expect us to score a lot more headed goals next year, especially Lukaku.
Why hasnt he done so for chelsea?
Consistent is the last thing you could call Willian. Nowhere near Hazard when it comes to their most important players.
He has, if you look above the stats.
Usually yes but I got the feeling this season he was up there with Hazard. Infact in the bigger games he was more decisive.
Saying that I don’t want to sign Willian
They finished fifth? He would improve us but to say he will make us unstoppable is taking it too far.
