Is he that good?
He's scary good for his age so much so he's outshining his twin brother who can only make the Fulham U21's at 16 years of age. I've watched Fulham a few times this season when they've been on the box and he looks the real deal. A £10m punt in the summer should Fulham not get promoted would not be flattering the kid. He could come in immediately and be Valencia's stand in and possibly even transition into playing further forward similar to a certain Welshman.

He hasn't played right back yet but he scored twice at weekend playing left wing.

Would be a perfect addition if Zlatan was to leave, even if he stayed i would still have him as we could do with a real physical presence in attack.

It would match the stories of Mourinho looking for Griezmann AND a striker in the summer.

Let Ibra enjoy the MLS, look at what could happen with Lukaku flanked by Martial, Griezmann, Mkhi (probably not all at the same time, team balance and all) and Pogba feeding them all from deep.

A man can dream.

I've got mixed views on Lukaku. He's a good player but I'm not sure he's got what it takes to do against the big teams. Definitely not worth spending 90M on him. That's just ridiculous. If Ibra goes which I feel he should, I would like a quicker striker to take over. I would pay 70M for Aubameyang.

Lukaku did score a second half hat-trick in Fergie's last league game to be fair.

A player with just 2 years left on his contract is not worth that much. Maybe the competition for his signing might drive up the price. But apart from us and Chelsea, I can't see anyone else being that interested in him.

Surely they dont value him at 90 fecking million. I know he has done well but.... I cant really think, maybe at max a 45 million player( for me thats high too).
For 90 million You would want one of the top 5 players in the world and i dont think Lukaku is top 5 in England.

Where would that leave Dybala? Whose place would be in danger if Sanchez went there?

At this point of what I've seen with Juventus, they play some sort of 4-2-3-1 with a skewy twist in the back three behind Higauin with Mandzukic to the left, Dybala as the 10 and Cuadrado on the right

Therefore it could become, when they play with a back four, be

Buffon
Alves/Liechensteiner - Bonucci - Chiellini - Alex Sandro
Marchisio - Pjanic
Cuadrado - Dybala - Sanchez
Higuain

Or the 3-4-3

Buffon
Bazagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
Cuadrado/Alves - Marchisio - Pjanic - Alex Sandro
Dybala - Higuain - Sanchez

A quite breathtaking good team actually.

Everton rejected a c.£70m bid from Chelsea last summer (apparently). they'll want at least that, if not more.

Yup - I would almost cry if he ends up with one of our rivals. I am not saying he will end up world-class but he is without a doubt the biggest talent in the UK right now!

But surely the player holds all the cards here, if they want a 90 million release clause then Lukaku should be demanding a 250k/wk salary. If they value him at 90m then they should be paying him like a 90m player.

I would love for us to sign Lukaku, but £90 million is about £40 million too much.
