This is not going to happen, but it would be something if it happened in this window...record goal scorer, see you later!
Yes, we won't sell him unless a Chinese team makes us a crazy offer like 50m or something. He will probably be off in the summer though.

None of the title/top 4 contenders in the PL are really crying out for a flashy, top class signing but instead just depth. I think that's why this has been such a boring and slow window. Their really has ent even been any links to big star players for any of the big clubs like their usually are.

I'm most surprised that Spurs, Liverpool, and City aren't going hard after a forward who can score goals regularly. Each of them are super dependent on a single forward who, if injured, could derail their entire season. If anything happened to Kane for example, Spurs are done.

Didn't Oscar go for a silly transfer fee? Surley The Chinese would be interested in paying a pretty decent fee for one of the biggest names in football.

Vincent Janssen was supposed to be a very good goalscorer. He can't even make the bench now. Maybe the step from Holland to EPL is too big? Look at Depay.

Yeah, he's looked awful when I've seen him. When Spurs are without Kane they really struggle to score. Likewise City without Aguero and we've seen all month how poor Liverpool look without Mané. I would've thought all 3 would be desperate to add another source for goals.

Rooney would be crazy to turn that down.

Wouldn't believe it on just Tanc's word, but Rooney would be a coup.. I'm sure they are targeting him

also - it's only BOOM at this stage. Not listening until at least MEGABOOM

Eto'o to FC Amkar .. or a taverna, one of the two

or .. not?

"Our coach knows Samuel so they decided to take a photo. Is Eto'o coming to Amkar? Of course not. In the future? It is sport, it is football, so who knows?"

No way Wazza goes to China anytime soon. He makes a ton of money here already, salary and endorsements. I could see a big money move to the USA in a couple years over China.

I think if Rooney has any ambition to still be a first choice player next season then he will move in the summer.

Please offer us £150m. That way Mourinho, Woody and the board would all be pushing him out the door, while he could leave like a hero pretending to make the move for the better of his 'beloved' club which is getting Griezmann, Bakayoko and Weigl in exchange. One can only dream..

Yeah he is only our top scorer ever he deserves shit like this.

How come none of these rumours ever talk about a transfer fee? Are we expected to let him go on a free?

Formalities. Chinese clubs obviously have enough money to convince a club, their main obstacle is getting top talent to join. Hence, the contract takes on greater significance I think.

In that case, I'm sure we'd get a reasonable fee, but he's on, what, £250k odd a week, with various add ons, I'd presume, with a deal to 2019. If the club could shift the guts of £30m and a massively underperforming player from the wage bill I don't think they'll be expecting £50m, or anything like that.

If Tevez, who is older and far less marketable goes for £73m from a club in the poor neighbourhood where I currently reside, how on earth would we be expecting him to go for £30m from the richest club in the world?

Some of the stick Rooney gets is an absolute joke

Exactly what are you referring to here? No one has given him stick?

He'd be crazy to turn that down. Shanghai is built for people with a lot of money to spend and he can get fat on whatever western fast food he wants without people complaining.

Look at Seven Seas post for some stick
