It does make sense. He's not going to be signing any deals anywhere at 35 with a serious knee injury, so it makes sense that the club offer to rehabilitate him and then both United and Zlatan can assess the situation closer to him reaching full fitness. He could be a huge boost to our season if he's an extra body around Christmas onward.
