Dont think Griezmann would move from Atleti to Real directly. Bayern wont sell Lewa and Juve want to try to keep Dybala for one or two more years. I also think he would prefer Barca.

That leaves De Gea and Mbappe as the only possible and realistic signings this summer.

Real Madrid probably wouldn't even class De Gea as a galactico. Think he'll be the only one they'll get this summer though.

Mbappe won't move until after the World Cup.

I'm pretty sure they won't be getting Griezmann and Dybala. So other leaves De Gea, Mbappe and Lewa. The last two would have to be a world record bids for both imo. Certainly an interesting summer ahead.

No way AG goes to Real Madrid. Id say Dybala is a no go as well. Why dont they just go after Aguero?

Aye, Griezmann would have to push for Madrid. Happened the same with Aguero. Madrid wanted him but Atletico just sold him to anyone else but Madrid.

Where would James even fit into your side? He's not a winger or certainly not a Mourinho-style wide player and you already have Mkhitaryan, Mata, and Fellaini occupying the area behind the striker.

Doesn't make any sense other than as a flashy trophy signing.

I think Mourinho wants to move to a 4-2-3-1. He would occupy the central position in the 3 with two of Mata, Martial, Mkhitaryan or Lingard either side.

I don't rate him however and would much prefer Griezmann in that role.

Ballbag is a waste of time. He's useless nowadays. Who else has pushed James to us? Other than him and possibly Marca no one.

Surprise any United fan wants him. He is supposed to be a slacker and Mourinho is notorious for being a hard taskmaster.

There's always something comforting about ballbag linking a player you don't want to your team.

I'm not giving any credence to the rumour, but not signing James because you have Fellaini to play in the 10 role is a joke. Then add the fact that he rarely plays Mata or Mkhitaryan in that position would suggest he may not be completely satisfied with such a key role just yet.

Ballbag is just trying to push James away from Madrid because he knows Real Madrid needs him off the books in order for them to get 2 big signings. Can't take it serious. I'd be proper shocked if we are after James. He is a signing LVG or moyes would make, not Mourinho.

It'd be just like us to give them 60m Euros for someone inconsistent like James and them signing Griezmann due to that.
And then us having to sell James for peanuts to PSG the following season as he doesn't settle here etc.

Ballague has no credibility, just last summer he said Pobga was in tears over the lack of Madrid move!

Pogba was soaking in the sun in Miami and LA last summer. I doubt there was much crying involved.

I'd have agreed with you if Falcao didn't sign for Chelsea last season after the poor season he had here. Falcao, James and Mourinho have the same agent in Mendes, so I wouldn't be that surprised to see James here. What's also unsurprising to see is the sudden game time James gets now in order for Madrid to sell for a greater price. And given that he's scored 7 goals in his last 9 appearances, you can bet them asking for about £50m for him.

Ballbag lost in the final of Pointless to Jedward for fecks sake. Guys obviously thick as pig shit.

Yeah I was amazed, though to be fair Jedward did kinda have the upper hand purely because English was their first language compared to Balague and Ardiles. And then Jedward failed to get a Pointless answer at the end by not naming their breed of dog!

That is mental as he hasn't even played a senior game yet. Barcelona have been heavily linked though and Vinicius has said he wants to play with Neymar so guess Real figure this is the only way to try and "beat" Barcelona to him.

Sadly this is where football is heading. Smaller clubs from lesser leagues fleecing larger/sugardaddy clubs for record fees as they rabidly compete against one another. The gulf between the haves and have nots is growing by the minute.

Neymar and Gabriel Jesus created a huge trauma.

I would do the same, to be honest.

Vinicius Jr's international record:
Brazil U15: 6 goals in 6 apps
Brazil U17: 19 goals in 22 apps

Gabriel Jesus' international record:
Brazil U20: 2 goals in 9 apps
Brazil U23: 2 goals in 6 apps
Brazil Olympic Team: 3 goals in 6 apps
Brazil: 5 goals in 6 apps

Neymar Jr's international record:
Brazil U17: 1 goal in 3 apps
Brazil U20: 9 goals in 7 apps
Brazil Olympic Team: 8 goals in 14 apps
Brazil: 52 goals in 77 apps

Gabriel Jesus never was so dominant at international level. And Neymar was part of a big generation of talent and his team was absurdly good(Oscar, Lucas Moura, Coutinho, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Casemiro, etc)

Vinicius Jr. seems pretty light weight. I have my doubts about him. But then again Gabriel Jesus is doing really well. Mbappe a much better and proven player at the highest level. Isn't Vinicius Barca bound?

It's actually pretty funny seeing how few games Neymar played internationally before joining the actual team. Truly the talent of his generation

I can see your point but I feel falcao was more a Abramovich signing than Mourinho. Here Mourinho has more freedom. And last summer transfer proved that Mourinho isn't mendes puppy

Last 2 categories were definitely weighed in Jedwards favour. Dogs and Spice Girls? Also to be fair to him, Balague got the lowest answer on the conventional Pointless type question: 'words ending in...'

This is part of the reason why I think spending 150m on Neymar would be worth it, not only would you be signing the future Balon d'Or winner Duro his peak, you'd also be getting all the future Brazilian 'wonderkids' wanting to emulate him, thus pretty much guaranteeing our seat at the table when it comes to trying to sign the best south American talents because right now our life is non existent aside from the money.
