Yah was talking about Sanchez. Not that I don't mind him coming, he's awesome. But at the same time it creates one hell of a formation headache.
No idea what Freds like if i'm honest, haven't watched him play ever I don't think.
I don't know why people seem to attach credibility to whatever Castles says. All his articles seem to be like this one. He will list 6-7 names that we are supposedly interested in, pretty much most of the players we are linked with by other media outlets, and compose an article from that whilst acting as if he has some actual inside information.
Sanchez on the right, a possibility? Or Martial, Sanchez and Jesse all interchanging positions behind Lukaku?

Isnt that always the case. United will have a list of few players and assigned priority level to all of them. But those position will change due to a lot of factors. Like mutual interests, economical factors etc.
so dont think Castle needs to be blamed here. And getting that list of 6-7 players is an inside info.
More like use slap head as a propaganda conduit to scare City into bidding more for players we have no interest in.

In that case its an inside info that everyone already seems to have. The players he mentions are Pulisic, Malcolm, Fred, Sanchez, Goretzka and Lemar. Pretty much all these players with the exception of Lemar (who he says won't come anyway) have already been linked to us by other media outlets. So either he is simply recycling that news or his supposed inside info isn't really inside as pretty much everyone outside seems to already have that info.
These Brazilians all seem to be named after my Grandad's mates.

There was an instance on Talking Reds where that actually got proven. Poster created a thread about a player. Two days later it shows up on sky quoting some other source, as we traced back through each source it finally came back to the some journal quoting the the OP.
Which is why sensible people should just wait and see who we sign and not get too over excited by newspaper rumours.

full disclaimer: I have no fav journalist and I dont follow any of them. but having said that, may be he just confirmed from his source that the news in all other outlets are correct and indeed this is our list.
What my point is, every club has a list and some journalist who happen to know people inside the clubs might know what that list is. To outsiders it may seem bullshit, since the team lacks in certain area and its kind of obvious to deduce what targets are. so the readers feel that journalist did not provide any enhanced information. But may be there's no enhanced information to provide in any case.
I hear what you are saying. However I will disagree with the point you made about the money we can offer Sanchez. It was revealed although I don’t know if it was true, we had Zlatan on 375 a week. Are any City players earning 300k a week? I don’t think so and that’s the sort of wages Sanchez wants.
Having said that City does look like his most likely destination either this month or in the summer.
I’d love him at Utd. He works hard (when his head is right), he won’t need anytime to adjust to us and he could turn out to be a great buy at 30 Million. Pay the money Ed. The impact he COULD have on our squad could be the difference between finishing 2nd or winning the PL.
