Di Marzio just said madrid are planning to go for Salah in the summer

Was. The Alexis of the present isn’t the same player as when he first joined Arsenal.

 Absolute drivel. It was only last season he had his best ever year by far. You are judging him off an average half a season (still has 7 goals and 3 assists in 17 starts) when he's playing for a side that he doesn't even want to play for.

He'll hit the levels he did last year when he moves to a side like City, where he's happy and not playing with a bunch of misfits. OP was right, Sanchez is still a level above any of United's forwards.

Arsenal are the odd one out, as if he would move there

Can't see any of them signing him to be honest. PSG obviously might just be looking to add more quality to the squad, but Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe are all better players for me and working really well as a combo so I can't see him displacing any of those, Bayern he wouldn't start over Lewandowski and they've just signed Sandro Wagner as his back-up, and he doesn't really fit the type of player Real would be looking for at CF in my opinion, I don't feel he has the all-round game.

Can you link tweet?
No tweet, said it on tv
and do you think that we should go for him?
Too early to tell. Don't think we've decided who we'll go for yet. Did you see pedrerol on jugones? "Only 3 players we could sign to reassert our dominance: neymar....neymar...and neymar"

If he's available, that's who we'll go for and that's that

Just over 5 months left on his contract. £20m is actually pretty high, given that the transfer fee would be £0 in the summer.
20 m is nothing if they sell him now and miss every chance competing for the CL spot.

Yes, he has been obsessed with Neymar for a while. Yesterday Inda said that there is a good chance that Cris will be renewed, so Neymar ...

Well it depends. Sanchez has at times appeared disinterested and if Arsenal feel like they can use that money (and some more) and invest it for another player like Lemar, then it might be a wise move. Besides, even if they kept Sanchez, they'd struggle to get top 4.

So Madrid are moving for Kane, Hazard, Courtois, Icardi, Salah....yeah okay. Why not just list the 250 best players on the planet and then in six months be like TOLD YA, inside sources. I wonder how many names these "journalists" would be spouting, if they had to pay 100 bucks for every wrong name. :wenger:

I wish we hadn't put that £60m release clause in his contact. :(
Foreseeable, given Coutinho's situation. Players would want some escape when bigger clubs come calling

Edit: Oops... :nervous:

Renewing Cris right now would be madness :nervous:

Only makes sense if we're shortening the contract or lowering the wages, and he'd accept neither. Unless we've got a buyer lined up in case he doesn't live up to his wages...

Lol, if Salah leaves Liverpool will certainly be back on form making me laugh just at the mention of their club.

Yes, yes, Real Madrid. Kane and Salah would do very nicely. We can then tie Hazard down for the rest of his prime years.

Specifically, he said that the club had told him that if they went through the tie against PSG, there was a good chance for a renewal.
I think we're going to pay the fine from the Treasury, without extending more years.
About Salah, Cuper said a month ago that he had been told that Madrid wanted Salah.

Oh no you don't, they're doing budget upgrade then come back the following year for Hazard as free agent.

Even Real Madrid aren't crazy enough to spend £400m over a couple of windows, surely? :nervous:

No way Salah has a 60m release clause. They signed him for 40m, even liverpool aren't that stupid.

He's been mediocre by his usual standards this year, which has been made worse by his random sulking.

Then spent like 200 mil around 1 decade ago. Most expensive player at that time was <90mil. PSG & Barcelona already breached 300mil mark in a season.

is that true?

Of course it isn't. Torres, Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho. Being a selling club means actually making ridiculous amounts of money at least.

Salah will go for what we say. So that's £200m+. Hazard will actually probably work out cheaper for Real as Salah has only just signed.

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-lucas-moura-but-no-offer-yet-made-for-winger

Manchester United have an interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura but that is as far as it has gone for now, Sky Sports News understands.
Moura has not started a Ligue 1 game for the French giants this season and has played for just over an hour from the bench in his six appearances.

Sky Sports News understands PSG are willing to sell the 25-year-old, who would also appeal to United as he did not feature in any of his club's six Champions League games.

Well, if salah is really just £60m, and we're going for Kane and Hazard as well
-we're selling all 3 of BBC. That will net a hefty profit given benzema and Cris shouldn't be worth all that much on the books and even Bale shouldn't be more than ~€20m
-assuming €150m for hazard and €200m for kane, that rounds up to ~€85m in transfer fees on the books for 18/19, which should be covered entirely by the profits from the sale of BBC. As for wages, the three combined won't cost more than BBC either. It's a big outlay for sure, but one we should be able to afford :D

Di marzio said Real Madrid wanted Hazard but lost interest after a Price of 300 Million was quoted by Chelsea.
