He's two footed and can go either way. Also, if Martial leaves, it'll leave the LW spot free for Sanchez, though it doesn't look like it'll make a difference, it's his either way.
Leon Bailey is not two footed. He is one of the most one-footed players ever, does everything with his left foot. More frustating than Robben and that is not easy!

Also, he is not good enough for place at a top club. In the first part of the season, he was good but since then he has been overshined by Gnabry in Bundesliga who was not highly rated and cost just 8 Mio.
He is also outshined by the three players playing next to him, Brandt, Volland and Havertz.

On the one hand he seems a really exciting signing, a Madrid transfer written in the stars, but on the other hand I do not like his attitude and his ways. It will a mess in the medium term.
Pini Zahavi said some days ago that Neymar couldn´t play in a team with Cris or Messi. I wouldn´t be surprised if he breaks any previous agreement with Florentino and start negotiating with English teams

I don't think PSG sells/lets him go now. No way the Qatari sheikhs will allow that loss of face.

I can though see a situation where Madrid finally lets Ronaldo go free at the end of the 19 season (he'll be almost 35 by then) and then allows a big company to put its name on the Bernabeu to pay PSG the 300 mill for Neymar.

He plays as a right winger? Martials future should have no bearing on him. If he's good enough then we should sign him, our right flank is quite embarrassing.

For Martials future should be dependant on him playing up front for us. Him and Rashford are both strikers. I feel Rashford is more suited to playing out wide than Martial, so it would be either or regarding the being the player to fight out on the left wing with Sanchez.
Martial is the better finisher I feel and is being wasted by every manager we have had bar Van Gaal. He should be up front over Lukaku. If we are going to play him on the left instead, personally I wouldnt be dissapointed and would be happy for him to develop elsewhere into the world class striker he can be. We could cash in on him and sign Sessegnon who has more potential as a left winger and is also a brilliant back up for left back as well...for less money. I would rather we kept Martial and developed him as a striker like he should be....so smacks of Henry being wasted at Juve as a left winger and being turned into a sensational striker by Wenger

Agree to this, very left footed player and a bad replica of robben.

the option in 2019, with a certain ease or agreement to leave is the "official" version.
The attractive part for Florentino (who is obsessed with Neymar) is the signing that is a surprise, difficult, against all odds. Start with the covers knowing they have no options is a bit counterproductive.
Besides as you say, we have to see what Qatar does if Neymar makes public that he wants to go. He has to convince PSG and later many socios who are not sure.
Unfortunately the name of the Bernabéu is not being so easy. IPIC broke the agreement to finance it so now they will have to use an investment fund.

Nothing to feed the muppets tonight?
Wenger has swallowed the back pages.
At least, it's not stories about our players leaving.

"Sources close to Real Madrid estimate that Cristiano could go from earning 21 million euros net to a figure of around 30 million plus a further two million in add-ons. It would place him closer to the 35 million euro salary which Neymar earns at PSG - of which seven million are in bonuses. But he would still be a way off matching the 45 million euro salary which Messi takes home. The duration of Cristiano's new contract won't be changed and will continue, as before, until June 2021."

Nah this can't be true they clearly forgot to mention he is seriously linked with a move to United first.

McTominay should follow West Brom to the Championship in all honesty.

No chance. Someone like Wolves coming up would be a better option. They play good football and will need more bodies. They are likely to spend quite a lot in the summer, but if Neves leaves then a decent amount of that will be spent replacing him. Bringing in someone like Scott on loan could appeal.

Higuain to stay has 99%, Buffon to leave (retire) has 100%.
And Alex Sandro to stay was given only 10%

Ah right strange that they've swapped the meanings. Should have had Buffon on 0%

EDIT: Also interesting that Sandro and Darmian add up to the same likelihood of swapping clubs.

Shows you how munch bullshit most transfer stories are.
If they have nothing to report they will just make up stories about players being unhappy or wanting to leave.

Whenever I've seen him he never looks like anything special, surely not a full back that would warrant 60m euros.
I have a friend who lives in Turin permanently now and he told me the fans would snatch our hand off if €60m euros was offered and that they want Darmian just as much as us fans supposedly want Sandro. To me that's a red flag, why do Juve fans want rid? Is he actually not that good as he's made out to be?

If they really want Darmain does that make them reliable? :p

Who is supposed to be a better option tham him for us? He's expensive, because there aren't that many good left-backs around. And if Juventus fans genuinely think Darmian is a good player, while Sandro isn't, then perhaps they shouldn't be trusted. Alex Sandro is not Marcelo, but he is definitely been a good player for Juventus and Porto.

As I said, for him to be worth that amount of money he really needs to excel in something, attacking or defending. He doesn't look like anything special. And if there aren't that many proven LBs available, I'd rather we buy a younger player who could develop into a world class talent rather than pay 60m for an ordinary one.

^^^ This must apply to Rashford and Martial, TFM, Axel and Scott Mc perhaps too.

Would love that. Perhaps this is also because getting Alexis in precludes the need to go out for a 'big star' name to satisfy Woodward's marketing plan .

If we focus our spending on fullbacks, a midfielder and maybe a winger of the profile of say Perisic (i mean style and $) then that will be an excellent summer .

Not really but they said Defensively Sandro has been a problem, caught out of position, too slow to react and not keeping up with the Defense ect. I'm just going off what I've been told. Maybe Mourinhos defending tactics will compliment his attacking ability.

I agree, there's not many, Telles has had a freak season, Ghoulam is a risk, Grimaldo? But again heard he is very overrated.

He wants to leave. And played this season like a guy who wants to leave. Simple as that

They don't want darmian btw.
