Tbf Dzeko seems like a decent signing. I wouldn't mind having him here as backup to Lukaku if Zlatan is not here (as long as it doesnt hurt Rashford, Martial)

No manager gets it right every time, I suppose impeccable is a strong word as it may imply every signing works. However, the vast majority have worked out well. 1 out of 7 hasn't worked out, and it has actually resulted in us being able to get in a better player. Now some may argue that is just down to luck. To a degree I agree, however the fact that he has accepted that he made a mistake and is willing to rectify it is a good sign. He signed Mkhi yet has accepted it hasn't worked. Many managers will cling onto their own players regardless of what happens (Mou was guilty of this in the past with Ivanovic).
 
Chelsea have had a bizarre few years. They looked unstoppable last year, and now without many changes they look bang average and seem to be making odd decisions. So probably another title challenge next year under another manager, then.

I think you’re spot on with Jose and will see a robust 11 come next season far more equipped for a title challenge, as this team has still too much uncertainty about it in certain positions.
Sanchez will improve us but is not the last piece in the jigsaw as our full backs (Valencia my favourite player outside Pogba and Matic) is getting on a bit and Shaw is still wait and see how he does. Plus Herrera and Fellaini and Mata and Lingard may need stepped up in quality. That’s before Rojo Blind Darmian get mentioned so still plenty of players and places will get altered.
 
This has to be one of the stranger transfers that we've undertaken. Literally both managers being so open about a swap deal. Feels dirty.

I agree, I think he's just going to sell the ones he wants to bit by bit and replace them with quality gradually. I think Darmian will leave this window, then Blind and possibly Rojo in summer. Also with Carrick and Fellaini leaving in summer, we'll likely replace one of themand McTominay playing a more prominent role next season.

Given Jose comments on Shaw yesterday, I think he's changing Jose mind on him slowly and giving him until summer to improve on that. I think we'll aim for a RW, CM and a full back in summer. I thought we'd sign Ozil in summer but now feel he'll stay at Arsenal.
