I rarely ever see Henry Winter write transfer related articles. Certainly clued up on England and their national players. Ox is a sick note, and unfortunately hasn't really progressed. Doesn't seem the most intelligent of players.

Can't think of a player less suited to Pep-ball. Dumb as a brick and heavily reliant on his physical attributes and athleticism.

I could see it working actually. Ox is fast, fairly two-footed, not bad technically and seems hungry enough out there. Guardiola could probably find a role for him in one of his weird formations. Maybe a more defensive one than he normally plays at Arsenal.

Today, German journalist Freddie Röckenhaus released an article on Ilkay Gündogan's transfer flirts. Based on Freddie's articles during the last years, I personally don't really trust him but know that Sphaero and others continue having great belief in him.

According to Röckenhaus' article, Ilkay's agent (who happens to be his uncle), didn't meet with Guardiola but with Begiristain only. Furthermore, Röckenhaus claims that according to sources in Manchester, the meeting was initiated by the Gündogan's agent, neither by City nor Guardiola, and he also claims neither Barcelona, Bayern, Real Madrid nor Juventus are interested in Ilkay's services.

Maybe in the Pedro style role at Barca?

Think there are very few players that will definitely be here next season.

Not that dissimilar to when the stories started that Mourinho didn't fancy Mata even before he arrived. We'd probably quite happily flog him for £20m.

We paid the best part of £30m on him, and he has two years left on his deal. Even if he wants to leave, which I doubt, neither of those clubs are stumping up the cash.

Especially since hes not worth anywhere near what we paid....

I think Juventus might be linked with more players than us every transfer window.

Which Bayern players haven't they been linked with since Pep was announced? It's getting silly now.

Not much they could do if he wants to follow Pep...again.

He's got a contract to 2019.

When have Bayern sold top players that they wanted to keep. They rarely do. In the case of Schweinsteiger they let him go because he wasn't as good as he once was.

Kroos was in the last year of his contract and they didn't think he was worth the wage demands he wanted.

Pep is getting nobody from Bayern.

^ We'll have to agree to disagree. Despite his contract situation, I think there's a pretty big chance of a sale if Thiago pushes for an exit this summer.

If Thiago is actually following Pep about, he will be in a fix if Pep does decide to retire at 50.

Thiago can push all he wants. He's under contract until 2019. Bayern aren't the club to just roll over to player demands.
