Good riddance. Awful footballer with terrible attitude. Enjoy the Championship and probably being benched.

The Pep news has ruined my day - especially with SSNHQ jizzing all over my screen declaring that City have now 'won' the transfer window :(

This is me right now:

Wenger refused to loan Debuchy to United because they are a direct competitor.

Because he is a good player whose style is well-suited to the Premier League and £14mill doesn't buy you anything anymore. I'd have him over Fellaini in the United midfield in a heartbeat.

He's a good player because he played half a season of decent football in France? Imbula showed nothing at Porto and was rightfully criticized by Porto's president and the former Porto manager Lopetegui. He's a player that needs a certain tactical system in order to produce and i doubt that it will work with Hughes tactics. He has bad attitude and is a sulky player. Also prepare to see his father whining every week if he doesn't play. He can eventually be an useful player but to call it the best deal of the window is ridiculous. Specially for that value. He's basically worth more after an atrocious career at Porto. You can only understand that with english clubs who have money to burn. Also why no decent club besides Stoke want him if he's so good?

I guess Hughes loves signing players who've failed at their previous clubs and turn their fortunes around at Stoke.

Fair enough. Porto fans are ecstatic to see him leave and with profit

I'll admit I haven't watched Porto domestically this season, but when I watched them in the Champions League he was a class above the other players around him, and he was great for Marseille before the move. There is something very dodgy about his transfer to Portugal and you get the feeling he was moved as a way for clubs to get round FFP (the deal was brokered by Doyen Sports who have close links to both Porto and Marseille) rather than as a proper purchase.
You may disagree with me but I wouldn't be surprised if he did very well for Stoke in a team where he is going to be the main man, trying to show he can do the business in the Premier League.

Hearing a rumour we're in for 22 year old Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Jaap Stam, Denis Irwin, Rio Ferdinand and Eric Cantona. My source is not sure if there's enough time to locate the fountain of youth today.

If someene from Norway is laughing at one of their own, then he must be bad. Is he that bad?
It's not that Omar is a horrible player, but he's not remotely close to United standard. (or at least the standard United should aim for).
I'd put him as a ok Swansea back.

Name one reputable English source...

The problem is - it's impossible to know. A paper can write that United are after this and this player - and maybe we are - but we get turned down either by the club or the player, and it's off Before it's properly started

He is a lot better than what we have. And he is the kind of fullback who bombs forward as soon as he gets the chance....just the kind we need
