I'd be happy with Dani Alves. Very good going forward which is what LVG's system seems to require of full-backs.

If I had to guess, I'd say he's PSG bound. There were some reports about PSG offering him a juicy three-year contract.

I actually think that he is going to join Bayern.

They've only just signed Aurier on a permanent deal and have van der Wiel too. It'd make no sense, which is why they'd probably do it

Van Der Wiel is almost certainly leaving this summer, so I guess they could do with Alves. He'd be useful in their CL campaign.

I'd rather United sign someone younger instead of Alves. Would be pointless to search for a new right back again in two years time.

That could be interesting, I don't think I've seen him linked with Bayern though. They could surely do with an upgrade on Rafinha if Pep sticks to Lahm in midfield.

Depends who else is available. Perhaps LVG has taken a good look at Clyne and isn't convinced and, at the same time, is happy to keep Valencia in that role whilst someone else with greater experience can steady the defence.

I'd take him for a year or two, he might be getting on but is quite clearly still playing at a high enough standard to be at United ahead of Valencia.

I agree that he would be a huge upgrade on Valencia, but then again every decent right back would as well.

I still don't know why we don't seem to be interested in Darmian. I think he'd be a great signing and is still 25. Maybe we're coy when it comes to buying players from Seria A or Van Gaal doesn't think he's good enough. Maybe both.

Di Marzio: Juventus is focused on midfield: Lamela being considered for trequartista role.

Palermo president: Inter & Milan matched Juve's offer for Dybala, but the player chose Juventus.

Can't wait for the season to end so we can get up and running with our business

Everyone seems set for a move to Juventus at the moment.

Yes and, entirely coincidentally, FFP rules on spending look set to be relaxed courtesy of ex-Juve fave Michel Platini.

''Hummels stays, Castro comes.''
Dortmund sign Leverkusen's Gonzalo Castro for 11 million euros. What do you make of it, @Sphaero?

What the tweet says. Basically every sports paper in Germany (including sources far more trustworthy than the "BILD) announce the Castro transfer as practically done and the Hummels topic is confirmed the same way and heavily hinted on by Dortmund´s DoF Zorc, who never makes premature statements like he did towards the "Kicker" and the "Ruhrnachrichten" without following through with it.

So Real Madrid must now lower themselves to compete with West Ham for managers because they've gone through the ones at the top? I'd offer the job to Heynckes, he is retired but he might be interested, his final season was very impressive. Oh wait just checked his wikipedia page out of curiosity to see who he has managed and seems as though he managed Real Madrid in 1997 - 98 but unfortunately he only won the champions league so he was sacked.

You think Tuchel will play the 4-3-1-2 system he used at Mainz, Sphaero? What does your starting eleven look like?

Changes are not easy, but there are moments that should be done. Do you dare! @UranRigoberto make the cut well.
