Yikes thats disheartening to think that City are in for Pogba. DiMarzio is the single most reliable journo when it comes to Italian teams.
My laughing about the article was because "Manchester City wants to build a new super-team"......they had never a "super-team" in their history.

Manchester United winger Angel di Maria is Pep Guardiola's number one target this summer, @Sky_Uli reports. #FCB

Sky-Sports News Germany have said too that Tuchel will be definitely the new Hamburg coach and Gündogan has signed already a contract with Manchester United.

Did they say it today??

DiMarzio doesn't usually trade in bullshit.

He does. The perception of him on the Caf' is hilarious.

Guillem Balague, for example, a source of mockery, has many, many more contacts throughout the European football scene, yet admitting to that will probably lead to calls of stupidity.

Di Marzio is releasing transfer nonsense every day. The fact he does so every day says little for the stature and reliability of his sources. Good sources aren't readily available on a daily basis. He's just being fed shite by agents.

According to Bild DiMaria is one of Pep's top targets (with DeBruyne, Gündogan, Dragovic)

Marcel Brands stated that Man United never offered Januzaj, and it wasn't part of the Depay talks either.

He also called Januzaj a "troubled youngster" and that hiring him was no option.

source: local newspaper (which also gave the Depay story) Algemeen Dagblad

That Gregory loannidis has been doing his usual oh so cryptic tweets.

Yesterday said that tomorrow will have a big one.
Today 'city of the day' is Manchester.
Numerous tweets about 'patience' being key to success.

I'm guessing De Geas extension will be confirmed today

You think this guy is legit? Just looked at his timeline and agree with your assessment.

I can see that Bayern move happening. They do need some wingers to replace the ever so ageing and injury prone robbery and he can play in one of those central attacking roles.

Yesterday's city of the day was Memphis.

I don't think he said tomorrow we have a big one, I thought he said a big one was close.

Ah for some reason in my head i read it as tomorrow (today)

I agree Di Marzio has bollock tonsils. After the mess that was the Vidal saga I don't think I'll ever trust him again, just like how I can't really believe what Balague says after that first Herrera debacle!

I like this guy he knows how to feed the Muppet in me.

@Jon_LeGossip: RMC: Paul Pogba still PSG's transfer priority. Club expected to open talks with MUFC over Angel Di Maria loan with obligation to buy shortly

 again. Why would we allow them Di Maria gratis so that they can also take Pogba? If he wanted to go, they can pay us the going rate which will also neuter them in FFP

Rodgers says Liverpool's "other priorities" in other areas meant their interest in Memphis Depay went no further.

If I was Rogers, I certainly wouldn't have said that. Saying that has just added pressure to him to deliver in his other transfer pursuits, poor scousers must think they're going to sign a world beater, probably end up signing Pennant again.

They save money buy loaning Di Maria and use that to buy Pogba, if it makes any sense.

Yes, but I think what he is saying is why would we (United) help them sign Pogba. If they want Di Maria they can pay the going rate or feck off

I wouldn't let Di Maria go unless we bring in another world class player, a la Bale.

Hes aware of that but he's questioning why we would allow them this grace to pursue what could well be our top target this summer.

@Jon_LeGossip: RMC add PSG met Di Maria's agent Jorge Mendes before 1st leg of Barcelona Champions League QF to discuss move. Player unhappy in Manchester.

I don't think I'd let Di Maria go at all this season. I think another season with a better settled team is the right thing to do and see how he goes on from there. He's not all of a sudden become a bad player so I'd certainly give him another season at least.

Loan aren't necessarily 'gratis', they could pay 15m and be forced to pay 45 other millions next summer.

Di Maria for Veratti.

A PSG midfield with Cabaye, Pogba and ADM would be great for them. And us getting Veratti would be great for United. It would also circumvent any FFP implications.

If Di Maria is as unhappy as the tweet claims, everyone will be a winner.
