How exactly would Gerson qualify to play in england?
Bite their hands off. I'd be more confident of Nani coming back and being a revelation than waiting for Di Maria to "adapt."
Wow an internet forum posting Man Utd fan in being impatient shocker!
Perhaps @fontaine might be able to provide us with more backround info regarding Gerson. 30m is surely nonsense though.
I doubt there's any way he'd qualify right now.How exactly would Gerson qualify to play in england?
Isn't there a law that allows players with exceptional talent a visa without having the criteria usually needed?I doubt there's any way he'd qualify right now.

Yes, but as I recall, even in that case he'd need to have a few games for the national team.Isn't there a law that allows players with exceptional talent getting a visa without having the criteria usually needed?

This is the suspect apparently (Gerson).
That clip rivals Bebe's youtube efforts for w@nkness. Bare in mind I got bored after about 90 seconds of it.
I may watch further as I noticed a few positive comments since. Still it seems a lot of money for a raw 17 year old.

What? Bebe's first Youtube video was him running the entire length of the pitch and scoring, he did it more than once IIRC.
Bebe should be lining up against Barca this weekend BTW. Granted his team are rooting to the bottom of La Liga but he hasn't done too badly, getting a lot of minutes for them.

"Special talent" I guess. If I recall correctly then Anderson was first denied a work permit, but United appealed on the grounds of him being a special talent.
Gerson is not included in the Brazil under 20 squad due to transfer negotiations, most likely with Manchester United. Price: 30m euro
Yup. Still news i guess. It's just from there gossip section, originally from the Daily Mail.
He'd be an excellent replacement but I just don't see how a deal would go through without us getting shaken down by Levy. Maybe Woodward's not arsed and he'll pay whatever the asking price is, however I saw somewhere that Lloris might have a buyout clause, anyone know if that's true?Yup. Still news i guess.

Yeh I'd doubt it anyway, with De Gea in the last year of his contract we could end up swapping him out the team for Lloris and making a loss. That would hurt.I read somehere it isnt true, it was a reliable source. I think it was a tweet in the Lloris thread
There'll always be hits and misses, Gerson would most likely play ACM or either wing for a Premier League side, positions which i'd say that i might be a bit worried about his pace.
But his talent is undeniable, he's showcasing it week-in-week-out in Brazil, although he might need to become a tad more consistent. Him being the captain of the u20 side for Brazil already should also tell you a lot about how highly he's regarded there.
Hes played 12 times and scored 4 goals for the first teamThat's the thing though he actually isn't. He hasn't played for their first team yet.
People keep mentioning Anderson like he joined United by word of mouth of being good whereas in fact he was immense and just won the Golden Boy award. A poor attitude and poor coaching from Fergie is what ruined Anderson, not his quality.
Warning: Mute that video if you're going to watch it.
