So if we refuse to sell David to Madrid this year, they cant sign him when he's on a free next year due to the ban? So David would more than likely sign and stay?
Anyone?

This. If this is true then we hold all the cards.

Yes but if we refuse to sell what can Madrid do?
I also don't think Madrid can spend like crazy due to who they normally buy. I think this means Bale is available to fund a spree..
It has certainly turned the tables, but I still think he will leave. We have the best hand now though.

I think its too soon for Pogba to move to Madrid so if they really want De Gea he'll be their marquee signing, meaning they'll most likely pay what ever we're asking if they get a ban.

As good as he could be for United I'd rather he went to PSG and stayed there for 10 years. Wouldn't even mind if he went to Madrid. I just hate the idea of losing £50million because Fergie thought Rafael would be a better choice in midfield against Blackburn that one time.

Raiola wont let him stay anywhere for 10 years theres no money in that for him.

Bibotelli isn't exactly a one club man.

I responded in the Pogba thread but, Balotelli moved because the clubs didn't wanted anymore. His first move to City was because of racism and better wages.

Barcelona will be waiting for him on a free transfer.

If we can keep DDG this summer with a new contract and Real get a transfer ban for next year.. Guarantees him staying here for atleast 2 years. Maybe we'll have a successor ready in time by then

can we ban all cavani related tweets for the love of all things holy. It makes no sense. he's not very good, he would cost too much, he's not coming here.

We love to pay that figure for our midfielders regardless of the quality.

LVG: Woodie, I want you sign Nainggolan (Insert another midfielder).
Woodie: What position does he play?
LVG: Central midfield.
Woodie: Okay, I'll go ahead and bid £28m.

Roma will make the same mistake with Radja they made with Benatia. Radja wants better wages, he deserves it, but they wont let him have it. In the same time Pjanić who is earning more is playing like he's on a vacation most of the year.

8 goals, 5 assists for Evian this season, brilliant set piece specialist with a knack for the occasional world beater freekick.
Was linked with Chelsea not too long ago.

I'm a former player for Evian and meet him quite regularly since he came to my town. Hi coach (I HATE HIM) questions his professionalism. He will be good for Saint Etienne, Bordeaux or mid table of lower League like France, but never ever for United

Also mentions stuff on Depay, Bale, Clyne and Hummels.

Mentions a few other United bits. Pole position for Depay. Hummels #1 target.

The persistent talk of Bale pleases me until I remember that realistically its going to be contingent on DDG going the opposite way. Still if DDG's heart is in a move back to Spain then Lloris and Bale wouldn't be the worst consolation prize.

Imo Lloris would only be a decent contingency, if we build a solid back 4 in front of him. De Gea won us points on his own this season, when our back 4 has been shakey.

I find Miguel to be reliable. It's interesting, if Liverpool force us to move for Depay then we do stop going after Bale? If the transfer ban does go through then I can't Real Madrid letting Bale go.

Absolutely. Generally a goalkeeper shouldn't be relied upon as heavily as we have with DDG, especially if you are a side with title ambitions. You want someone who can make 3 or 4 stops in a game when your defence is bossing the rest of the game. If we have a general in defence you would hope that DDG or his potential replacement wont be required to make so many saves.

Depay is right footed while Bale is left footed, and van Gaal is a fan of inverted wingers according to NL Max so I can see there being a small chance of us possibly being in for both but Real won't be selling Bale this summer anyway.

I did read NL Max's posts, but we would end having too many wingers. I can see Adnan going on loan, but it would leave us with Young, ADM and Mata. I would assume Depay would be keen to get a lot of minutes.
