Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
Speculation on the United part, but still a possible transfer subject in the summer.
Levy will squeeze 40m out of us for him.

Don't know where to put this, it's sorted lads
Youre too little too late.
Maybe he is a bit late, but it's on the "Manchester United Die Hard Fans" Facebook page, that must count for something.Youre too little too late.
The fan in the wheelchair at this event gave Van Gaal a transfer list!
Nice stuff from everyone involved.

He's certainly learned his lesson, though I'm not sure how much of that was down to MoyesArgh, you just reminded me of the whole Fellaini/Baines saga. Not a flashback I needed.
Wonder what his ancestors did to be given that surnameI can's see Immobile moving so quickly ...
Sorry
Hard to blame him, we're screwed because DDG has 1 year left on his contract and is only likely to want to go to Madrid (assuming he wants to leave, which we all hope isn't true). In short there wont be a bidding war for DDG and Madrid could realistically wait until he's out of contract next year if we set the price too high.Levy will squeeze 40m out of us for him.

Lloris on the other hand is signed up til 2019 and would probably be more motivated by CL football which gives him more options of destinations resulting in much more realistic interest.
Agreed, he'll get at least 1 season in nets, it would be madness not to at least try him as a cost effective option. With a more solid defence and midfield in front of him, Valdes wont need to be as good as DDG is.Not sure on accuracy, however, there have been rumours of a CL related clause in Lloris contract.
Anyway, we have our replacement. Valdes was always insurance should DDG go.
And so Evans future should be, he has shown absolute zero progress this season and looked terrible every time he has played for us, even for the U21's a few days ago wasn't he rubbish there too ? He's 27 now and prone to a few injuries every season and I used to really like the guy playing for us but the ship has sailed, he needs to move on in the summer.

Difference is Phil Jones is 23 whereas Jonny Evans is 27. He's also been one half of the best centre back partnership we've had this season.I agree with this but the same can be said for Jones - he has not progressed and is every bit the liability that Evans currently is.

Yeah, that's not true at all.
Had a run of good performances leading up to the nonsense against Newcastle.
I still think we need 6 CBs next season, especially if we don't get cover for the LB position.
Smalling
Jones
Hummels*
Evans
Rojo
McNair
* or equivalent

Not sure I get your point. Isn't that exactly what I'm saying? Jones is four years Evans' junior and has shown more promise in a back two with Smalling more than anyone other defender we have.Name me one defender who was an established worldbeater at 23 ? If you are 27-28 and still struggle to develop into the first team sheet at a club like United, then questions have to be raised obviously.
Rio Ferdinand was 23 when he joined united and was already a beast. Varane is only 21 (22 in 3 days time) and he's already pretty damn good, this time 2 years he'll still be 23 so could easily be a world beater by then.Name me one defender who was an established worldbeater at 23 ? why don't we offer Chicharito to clubs like Everton, Soton, they could send us Barkley/Schneiderlin.. they are mostly packed in that position but it would be nice to see him playing in the Premier League
