Joaquin went to Fiorentina, played against Spurs in the europa. Probably gets more gametime now Cuadrado is gone

If that's true then I'm guessing Depay and Clyne as two certainly.

I really feel two out of those three are Clyne and Depay, as others have mentioned. Not sure who the other could be, though. Van Gaal did say the priority is getting a midfielder to give us balance......

Bit early for this stuff.

Couldn't imagine any club allowing players to talk to other clubs & agree deals during the season & outside the transfer window.

But for me Depay, Hummels & Clyne would be the obvious choices. Though none of whom would be my personal selections.

It happens all the time. Bale for example, talks had been going on for months before the transfer window opened.

Great news if true. Hummels, Depay and De Gea please. Hopefully a few more follow too.

Use your heads. On the off chance that this is true, do you really think Southampton are going to agree to sell their players to us in March? Likewise Dortmund and Bilbao won't be easy to negotiate with.

If there's any truth in the Ings interest then you'd imagine he's one of them, given he's out of contract. Depay is probably possible too as they're keen to sell. Beyond that I'm more than sceptical.

I repeat again.

Shaw, Herrera................................

Also not sure Bilbao are as hard to negotiate with as people think. As long as you don't try to short change them, a lot of it is show for the fans. They don't need to sell players and the fans don't understand why anyone would want to leave. If a player wants to leave then they usually leave. There is a lot of wailing and hand wringing but they usually sell.

I think that's exactly right. It's all for show to appease the fans and to get the highest price possible each time. We all know the politics involved at Bilbao and how fanatical the fans are, the club have to save face and appear that although it was never their choice for the players to leave, they tried everything to stop them, but couldn't, so get the most money they can.

I find this a bit hard to believe given that we're only in March.
You think other big clubs don't have players lined up already? Of course they do. He might just be bullshitting, but he probably isn't that far from the truth, even if he doesn't realise it.

They are hard to negotiate with since they don't negotiate at all, you pay the clause or you leave them alone.

I am worried that one of them might be Berahino, because he was at the Arsenal game with his agent... :nervous:

In a way that is easy. That was why I said if you don't try to screw them over. Like we did the first time with Herrera. There is a price, you want the player, then just pay up. I would rather deal with that than people like Daniel Levy.

You are wrong, it's only easy if you are willing to be screwed, their prices are outrageous but since they are loaded, you have no choice and they know that.

You don't really need any negotiating with Bilbao, Pay the release clause and they get no say, it's up to the player to decide.

In regards to that rumour about 3 players, I don't believe it at this stage, a lot can and probably will change so wouldn't make sense to have transfers already wrapped up.

I'm not so sure. I think Clyne is definitely one of the players. That would make a lot of sense and given our behind the scene Shaw deal with Southampton, it is also very possible. It was also mentioned on Sky a few times before Christmas that a deal for Clyne had already been done.

Depay has liked a couple of tweets about Manchester United and we all know he gets on well with LvG. That one would also make a lot of sense and been done quickly to avoid a potential bidding war because of his successful season.

The third could be anyone It could just be a very promising youth player that we haven't really heard of, like the other lad who tweeted about United last week.

Obviously all of it could be complete bollocks, but after our early season dealing last Summer it is entirely possible. It's definitely got my muppet juices flowing a little. We just need @Pexbo to come in here and start the Summer fires burning.
