Yeah, I don't really take that Jamie Jackson bloke seriously.

In regards to Coleman, he is a quality player no doubt.

£20 million is a fair price for him, but I would much rather Clyne as he can play left back also.

Blind, rojo, shaw (and young to a degree) can play LB. I would prefer Coleman who is one of the best RB's in the league at the moment.
I love Raf but his injuries has made him undependable IMO.

I'm worried this move would signal more 3 at the back, but he's fine in a back 4, so I'm probably just being paranoid.

Him or Clyne would be great, although Coleman is the more developed player.

I thought the same. Coleman is very much suits a wing back system so LVG might actually want a player like him.

I rememebr Darren Bent pulling a full on power play on Sunderland after a derby against Newcastle and he ended up leaving that very week. He hasnt been the same since. I remember he was a God at Sunderland. The supporters loved him. Now he's just another shite centre half making his way down the leagues. Well deserved.

Your not wrong there! :p

How has he been doing this season? Don't think I've watched Everton once apart from our game against them this season.

He wore a United shirt a decade ago and the betting has been suspended for him.

He's clearly coming.

It's a deal that makes sense. We need a RB, they need money in order to invest in their squad and not slip into a genuine relegation battle. I think this one has a high chance of getting done.

Full-backs are their lifeblood.

Remi Garde is out of work as well, seems a perfect fit with Newcastle's not inconsiderable contingent of French speaking players?
