He'll have a year left in the summer so depends if he's willing to take a pay cut.

Fairly standard answer, and tbf the president has answered that question pretty clearly.

Much as i'd like him he isn't exactly as good as some people seem to think he is, factor in his injury, and i'd say anything over £20-£25 million would be too much and they won't take that, so rather we went for someone else.

I think they will take that if Strootman push for the move. Something like Benatia did.

If they took that then far enough, but they seem to think they have a superstar worth £50 million +, and they just don't.

Don't think they'll be any doubt that Strootman will want the move though.

That's just posturing. He's a £20-odd million midfielder and they'll never receive anything more than that. I don't expect they'll play hard ball either provided he pushes for the move.

He reckons Herrera could be fit for after the international break and it sounds like Jones won't be ready for Everton.

:( on all three counts.
 He's a big loss for the Everton game but fortunately this is an Everton side who have been pretty poor so far. I hope Jackson is right and he's fit following the break, we'll desperately need him for the Chelsea game.
