Touting him everywhere? Pretty sure we told him he couldn't go to a top six club.
And he should just listen to it and sign for erm... Burnley?
This is a guy who has been giving his all for United in every game he has played, whatever position. During all this we have given a sulking striker who wanted out twice 250 k a week, signed a 29 year old striker, and now another 28 year old one. But he should still be happy at whatever decision we make for his young career? Get a grip!

Can Welbeck fire Arsenal to the title? The answer is NO. Good player but i feel opinions would be slightly different if he wasn't local and a product of the youth academy,

Exactly

Kinda ironic how we're happy to sell to Arsenal, but Arsenal wouldn't sell Vermaelen to us?
I mean, i didn't personally want Vermaelen, but still, it's the principle

Well we did buy that Van Persie fellow from them a few years ago. Either way loaning him out for £6m to Arsenal isn't bad business. TBH he doesn't change their baseline expectations all that much for me as he's not a prolific striker. His build up play is excellent, but they need somebody to lead the line, more than another player to play beautiful tippy tappy football. Remy would have elevated them more than Welbeck IMO and even if he does shine there than ultimately we will benefit from it.

No I wasn't. And I wouldn't be if Welbeck wanted to go to Liverpool. It's a slightly different rivalry. Ultimately if we don't want him then I can't blame him for wanting the best move. Where's the idea he hasn't permission come from?

I think that's what all the talk is all about. That we don't want him to go to Arsenal and he is trying to push the move through despite that. If he has the club's blessing then I don't think we have any right to comment on it.

Yeah thats very true, but van Persie was in the last year of his contract and wanted the United move. They had little choice but to accept our offer or risk loosing him on a free the following season. They were in effect backed into a corner and had no get out clause.

I'm pretty sure Welbeck isn't into the last year of his contract, and i don't think we can loose him on a free either, so letting him go to Arsenal is a bit of an odd one to me. Still, as you say, a £6m loan deal is a good one, and pays for the Falcao deal too. I just hope theres no purchase option at the end of it.

There you go. British media have been clueless from start to finish.

Tancredi is italian and reports most wages net. But since he is still a Monaco player and therefore doesn't have to pay taxes, he'll probably be on really 180k. Hopefully it's really just a loan.
