Because he is still contracted to the club and if we don't want him to go to Arsenal, he sure as hell should not be at their training ground trying to push a move through. Just out of interest, were you in Heinze's corner a few years back when he tried to push through a move to Liverpool?
No I wasn't. And I wouldn't be if Welbeck wanted to go to Liverpool. It's a slightly different rivalry. Ultimately if we don't want him then I can't blame him for wanting the best move. Where's the idea he hasn't permission come from?

Touting him everywhere? Pretty sure we told him he couldn't go to a top six club.

Which is a ridiculous limitation for a top-6 player IMO.

Welbeck wants to play at the highest level possible, he's doing nothing wrong at all.

The tweet where it says he's trying to force through a move.

All Welbeck lacks is his finishing and when he rarely gets games as the main man up top its gonna be hard for him to get used of the pressure. I think he'll be quality at Arsenal. Potential fantasy football transfer too.

People have also seem to have forgotten that welbeck is shite...

bambi having spasms on ice.

Also, it isnt possible to go there without clubs permission, this is what happened with odemwinge, qpr wouldnt allow him inside the front door.

calm down people.

He earns 256k euros, and he is willing to take a cut on his wages.

Thought it was €300k my bad, he'd have to either way as no one in their right mind would match the €256k he's on considering tax rates.

By saying he doesn't want to play for Spurs and prefers Arsenal would be the more logical jump than him having a medical without permission.

So Arsenal are desperate for a striker, how much should we sell Welbeck to them for? Personally I think £18million is good business, although I've a bad feeling he'll end up being a Sturridge.

I don't see why we wouldn't let Welbeck go to Arsenal... If we thought that highly of him and we are worried that he will boost one of our main rivals that much... we surely would have kept him.

I didn't care much for Welbeck leaving, but it would be pretty daft to let him go to one of the teams we need to catch for 4th. And arsenal should suit welbeck as well.

Wrong. It won't take a striker as good as rvp or falcao to improve arsenal.

Its stupidity selling Welbeck to Arsenal, its stupidity selling him full stop but we are a club that sells a player like Kagawa for £6mil so what can you expect.

We shouldn't be selling him to Arsenal though, is this some thankyou for selling us RVP?, feck em, if they are stupid enough to sell us their star player then thats their problem.
