I think Mendes wasn't happy with where we finished last season so is deciding to help us out and bring us back to the top

They were a rumour a few months ago that Mendes and Kenyon wanted to rebuild the Man Utd connection and that they were proposing all their stars to the club.

Indykila broke Anderson to Burnley so all of these other accounts posting it are probably just copying him. Hopefully it's not BS though. Doubt they could afford his wages.

He's a crock.

Moutinho any good as a DM?

Perfect man for a midfield pair, not sure how he'd do as a DM but he is one hell of a player. Would surely be playing for one of the top clubs in Europe had he not took the money route.

Woody heard the chant 'Attack, Attack, Attack, Attack, Attack" and thought "It shall be done"

Moutinho would be a good midfield solution, rather have Carvalho, though. Not sure about Shawcross. We need a defender who can pass and bring the ball forward.

I doubt they could afford his lunches.

The only thing IndyKaila breaks is the seal on the burger bun bag

We cannot give Arsenal Welbeck under any circumstance.

On the Welbz to Arsenal rumour, I don't think he would be what they needed anyway? They've got loads of pacey runners, surely they need an out and out front man? Think he would be better off choosing a different club.

For Arsenal probably not right move, but for Welbz, if he wants to do a Sturridge and be a out and out Striker, this would be the perfect move and platform to prove himself.

Actually would not mind Shawcross, he's not world quality but he has experience, and think he's underrated and given Englands current list of CB's it's bit criminal to think he keeps getting excluded.

Surely its just cheaper to sign Mendes.

He always seems to know who the best players are going to be

I think he'd be perfect for Arsenal actually because he's extremely good at holding up the ball and passing it on. He'd link their attacks up nicely.

What's with all these bloody loan deals. Can't we just sell our deadwood outright?

A Prem loan for Welbeck (if he has to leave) would be the best solution (provided he doesn't help a rival pip us to the top 4). If the Falcao deal is a loan with an option to pay shitloads for him at the end of it, it wouldn't be so bad to have a Welbeck coming back with 20-30 starts under his belt.

Cleverley has a year left on his deal, if he can go on loan, it ensures that he's not anywhere near our first 11 this season.

Anderson - who would actually buy him now? Another loan is probably a lot better than having him hang out at Manchester with no game time.

Hernandez - it's not a bad deal really. Shame it wasn't as part-exchange for Vidal, but I'm delighted for him to get the chance to play at Madrid.

If we could get a good midfielder on loan that'd be great too as it would still allow us to go for Strootman once he's fit.

If we sign a top midfielder before the window closes do we have a squad good enough to compete for the title?
